Just noticed that there's already a version 2.0 upgrade to the guitar version of this pedal which allows you to use six effects together by allowing you to scroll the screen, rather than three as before. Anybody know if this will be available on the B3 anytime soon? http://www.zoom.co.jp/products/g3/
Interesting, how would you turn the additional pedals on and off? Or can you only do it in pairs? A B3X would be quite nice too EDIT: Just read the G3 manual. Looks like you have to scroll across to the pedal to turn it on and off. Will have to learn how to tap dance for this...
  4.
Bloody hell! Although you'll notice that neither of those actually sold. I got mine second-hand (although in perfect condition and with all the "case candy") from Ishibashi for less than £300 including shipping and import taxes.
I didn't notice, was too shocked at the price. I'll give you £150, seeing as it's 3rd hand
  5.
Great isn't it? I used it for a song writing practice at Mr Venom's house the other day. Wrote two news songs with it - "1980's Hardman" and "Dead Deadbeat Delinquent" As it says on the bass: "She's here to brighten your day with her warm heart and fun-loving ways!"
Just looked at how much they go for, the rare occasions they appear on ebay.
  6. Oh god!! My 2 1/2 year old daughter just saw the Fernandez... She's going through a Hello Kitty phase at the moment! " 'ello Ki-iy... 'ello ki-iy 'ELLO KI-IY!!!!"
  7.
If they were just rounding off the last song and saying goodbye then it seems a bit harsh chopping them off at that point.
They were 30 mins over the curfew and from tweets going on they would have played more
  8.
Me too (you can probably tell by the name) but they've never really been all that great live. I don't blame you.
They used to be good, but not for that length of time... in one evening.
Lots of haters hating the Boss but no love for Macca. (kinda why I posted it here and not in OT) I'm personally brimming with ambivalent about both but I thought there might have been some sympathy for that '60's beat combo dude.
I hate his 'royal' smugness...
  9.
Nah that's not over-running. That's just doing what you've been told by them that's in charge. Hope you upped your fee for the extra work like.
We were given all the main band's booze. I have no idea what happened.
  10.
That's the trouble isn't it, the competition in that price range is phenomenal.
If I ever had that much to spend on a single instrument I don't think I'd ever make a purchase. I'd never be able to decide which one!
  11.
Sorry, thank you, you were entirely right to amend
I'm a massive Soundgarden fan. I saw them many years ago play for 2 hours straight. Then went off and came back for 30 mins of encores. They went off again, and came back. By that point I was rather bored and left... Apparently they played for another 25 mins.
  12.
Springsteen's renowned for doing overly long sets.
amended for accuracy
  13.
Oh come on guys. Has no one here ever over-ran... or is it that we are mainly just all support acts who can take liberties and leave it up to the main act to take the brunt?
Or the main band hasn't arrived in time and just as you're finishing the set someone tells you you have carry on for another 40 mins! But, I suppose that's not over-running.
  14. When they were announced there was a maple fret boarded version of this: And It was gorgeous! EDIT: But for that much money I'd rather buy a Wal.
  15.
The local (miserable bastards IMO) residents got that curfew imposed. Nevertheless, Springsteen should have conformed to it.
Agreed on both points. EDIT: Although, If I lived near by and knew Springsteen was headlining. I'd have demanded a 9pm curfew!
  16.
Oi you don't be coming round here with your seeing the funny side and spoiling things.
When Springsteen is involved there's nothing funny...
  17.
There's an input gain on the channel surely?
would appear so: http://www.gearnuts.com/images/items/1800/MG206Cusb-xlarge.jpg
  18. Well, there are curfews for a reason. Let Bruce over run for a while and risk losing the licence next year, or cut him off to show you'll do your best to keep to agreed time limits. To be honest, 3 hours of Springsteen should be enough for a lifetime...
  19.
https://twitter.com/...4068864/photo/1
It won? Nice!!! Now, sound files please!

  22. The internet has made it a tiny bit easier and a lot less tiring. But I remember coming back from Musical Exchanges, in Coventry and Brum, with loads of catalogues and such. I'd spend days drooling on Trace Elliot, Roland, Aria, Akai and Yamaha catalogues.

The monopitch is pretty impressive really. That was the first time I've used it. Copes with polyphonic playing better than the PitchShift effect. There's also the PedalMonoPitch is the Whammy pedal. It's also pretty good. If you want anything else recorded, just ask.

Here you go, some badly played bass through the 2 different pitch shifter 'pedals' http://soundcloud.com/warm_leatherette/pitchshift from 0:18 - 2:00 is the monopitch pedal, this is the monophonic shift. from 2:005 onwards is the PitchShift The whole patch mix is 50% and then the effects ate blended 75% in.
