I didn't try it when I was in there, but I did try a similar one in PMT in Manchester. They're great basses and the ageing looks very authentic. Just go for it!
It's the 'hard core' ageing that puts me off it. The 'Soft' ageing is a far as I could go, but I'd still have to see an example.

Brilliant, where on Earth did you find this? Can you believe we used to dress like that?! Check out the mullet!!

Must have sweated like a pig with that stage light pointed right at your head!
This thread has made me pull my finger out and put the electronics back in my cheap Dean Edge.
I need a bass to leave down the rehearsal room, this on is the cheapest one I own so it's my project bass. But it's been unplayable for 2 years!

First photo is of a bass body, but all the others are of another neck, also badged "Fender". The plot thickens.

Badged Fender Stratocaster, to be precise

You think Dave will paint it black on request? (hate those finishes)
If you tell him when you order you can change the paint to a certain degree,
I play in a punk-ish band and did a gig with a fretless. Sounded great, didn't use a plectrum either.
If you want to do it then do it. Sod everyone who says not to.

Hello Jackers...which software do I need to read your PDF, my PC doesn't seem to like it?!
Have you changed the file extension to .pdf?
Yeh, saw that at the cinema. One of my favourite cinema moments.
Same here. Saw it in a tiny place. Walked out feeling like I'd been to a gig!

He's really good at skateboarding too! There's a great piece on Youtube of him helping build skateparks in poor areas of the USA for underprivileged towns to use. Supported by Vans shoes.
There's a few bits of him carving around concrete parks on PJ20

I love working on veroboard but you do have to be careful with your cuts, avoid solder bridges and make sure you place the components are in the right place (believe me, this happens all too often).
A great website for vero layouts is http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.co.uk/

The Fishman unit looks very nice, but it's seriously pricey.
I remain baffled that they never re-introduced the Unibass.

Or the Deep Impact or that Shred-o-Graphic/G-Drive
