1. I've had a set of DR Neons on my Stingray since January and they've still got a bit of brightness left. They must have over 100 hours of playing on them.
2.
aaaah ! Close but no cigar. What's your band's name ?
Hobgoblin. By the time the gig arrived the poster was wrong. There was only us, The Vile and GBH left.
3.
Bloody 'ell mate, do you play bass for GBH ?
No... But it's a poster with my band's name on it
4. Trawled through a hard drive to find some old base images for my old band. Never got around to using them, unfortunately.
5. Ah found one.

7. I have to say, that Yamaha looks bloody awesome BRX!
8.
Man Or Astroman - top band. The guitarist closest to the camera and the bassist are playing a Hallmark Swept-Wing Guitar and Bass. The guitarist furthest from the camera would have been harder to identify from the plethora of Moserites and their clones if it wasn't for the colour scheme which makes it a Hallmark 60 Custom. Hallmark are a fantastic guitar company. They make what is IMO the best Moserite clone if you can't afford the real thing or a Fillmore. I own one of their limited edition Wing-Bat guitars which is a cross between the Swept-Wing model and the Batmobile! BTW - mustn't let Mr Venom see this clip where they set fire to the Theremin as it will only give him ideas!
Thank you very much Sir. I love Man Or Astro Man (and Servotron). I was allowed to play the theremin during a show several years ago plus I almost got electrocuted by the tesla coil.
9. Probably a really easy on for BRX but what's the guitar and bass in this (skip to 4:25 as there's a really long intro) EDIT: in fact you can tell from the preview shot (of the guitar anyway. The bassist is playing an Apple Adjustable keyboard in the shot) EDIT 2: Watch all the way to the end to see their Tesla Coil.
10.
That's got to be a euphemism.
I was thinking that as I typed it...
11. After a bit of sleep I've realised I really like the pink Jazz too!!
12.
Did you ever see a bass and, even though you shouldn't, you still want it?
Yes. This:
13.
Am I right in thinking that you can use this to mix 2 loops of effects and then blend them to create a signal out to your amp?
That's what I do. Loop A has my Zoom B3 and Vesta Fire distortion in and Loop B has a DIY overdrive in. But 90% of the time only one loop has FX running at any given time, so I have a dry signal to keep the low end there
14. I've had the X1622FX for a few years (came with a USB interface). The X1622USB looks to be identical but with the interface built in. It's pretty good for the money, nice and quiet and has been totally reliable.
15. I meant to add: I prefer stage left, so the risk of headstock/cymbal clashing is reduced.
16. I've got 5. Björk being one of them. Björk creates much more interesting music than Rush.
17. One of these? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Step-Down-Voltage-Converter-220v/dp/B000XROE3Y
18. From Wiki The company was founded in 1997 by Mark Gooday, a chief engineer and manager at Trace Elliot during their glory years.
19. I took my, nearly completed, refurbed Corvette Proline to band practice for the first time on Wednesday. Despite the fact it's had a very hard life it played and sounded fantastic.
20.
That pic puts me in mind of the back cover of Ummagumma... But looking at it today, it doesn't seem to be that much gear really, does it? At the time this amount of gear astounded me! Nice lamp, by the way.
I prefer Einstürzende Neubauten's take on it:
21.
Nice bass, ropey vocals.
Yeah, I just hope they were at the end of the set.
22. The CD just arrived, with a free Curly-Wurly! Now my favourite band EVER!
