2. It's looking great!! With the hole and the barky bits it looks like it's been grown, rather than manufactured!
3. Urgh, Dave Mustaine... (ooh, he's a pinkie sitcker-outer)
4. Sold my DHA VT2 to Chris today. What can I say? Hassle free, great communication. Top bloke all round!!!
5.
that is a killer of a distortion pedal. i lke. a lot. ouch. i've just seen the price.
Holy Poo!!! I want one! Maybe we can go halves and have shared custody?
6.
Well, mine's on its way back to Soundslive tomorrow. They've been great so far
Probably had a couple back already then. Digital Village took my first one back no problem.
7. That's not right. I use an EBMM, pad switch out, gain at 1 o'clock and the peak light barely flickers. EDIT: just noticed that if have the Ultra low switch out I have to turn the gain down to maintain the same degree of peak light activity...
8. Some here: http://www4.informat...al/walspec.html Clarky, must have the fastest fingers on BC!!
9.
One eight ohm cab! :s
Oh, that's not good at all. Now I'm going to be all paranoid about my PF-500... ... which was my second one as the first one cut out a lot...
10. Were you running one or two cabs at the time, and what Ohms? My PF-500 does not like running a single 4 Ohm cab.
11. One thing that puts me off a lot of websites is video/audio stuff that auto plays...
12.
Why will it not post my you link? is it different now........... anyway its Rossetta Stoned by Tool!
you need to do it this way, these days:

13. My band used to do a punk version of Racey's Some Girls, modifying the lyrics as well as the tune. I couldn't for the life of me remember how the song went. It wasn't even a complex song, I guess it's more to do with the fact I hated it.
14. I'm another that will stand on one foot. I know I do it but I can't recall what my other leg is doing at the time.
15.
Bassically this is my dream bass, and there is more than one on here.....let me tell you, the list of things I would do to own one of these is pretty long! Whats gutting is 5 years ago before I was back playing bass and in a band, I went out and spent thousands on home hifi/cinema stuff.........I could have bought one of these and had change for a GK head etc.........
Wals are my dream bass too. In a similar fashion I spent a few thousand on synths, drum machines and outboard effects in the early 90s. For some reason buying a Wal didn't occur to me... (of course I now realise in the last 2 years I've spent over £2,500 on a few different basses, when I could have just had one... )
16. TCE emailed back and suggested to give it another try (along with lots of questions about computer, OS etc). So, sceptically, I tried again (for the 5 time) and it worked!! The pedal must have known the mothership had been in contact!! I now have an updated pedal! EDIT: Mike at TCE has emailed back to say he replicated my issue once he'd updated his MacBook to the latest version of Lion 10.7.2 (build 11C74).
17. Hmmmm, Tried to run the update just now. Nothing happened and now my pedal is dead. Arse! I've emailed TC to see if they have any advice...
18. I used one to replace the warwick socket. No problems at all.
19. One of these? http://www.maplin.co...s-socket-223988 N39GB
20.
I'm sure this has been asked a million times, but is making the transition from bass to EUB a mammoth task?
I found it to be no problem at all. As it's a totally different playing position I didn't have any issues getting used to the different scale length or anything. The hardest part was not playing songs I'd play on a bass guitar, or at least not in the same way, Now I've got some nicer strings on my NS NXT4 I love playing on it. With the supplied D'addarios it just sounded like a fretless bass, now it's a bit more on the Double Bass side of things.
21.
How do I attach a .pdf from my computer?
Have you tried adding it as an attachment, like you would with a jpeg?
22. It should have a really high output. My 405 was stupidly loud, try some switch cleaner in all the pots. The mid boost on mine got a little grubby and the output dropped right off.
23. The simplest way is into the mic socket, of course.
The band were incredible as always, but the audience in Birmingham were terrible. I don't know whether it was me getting old, or people wanting more growling, but there were so many people talking really loudly, especially during the softer bits. Really disappointing and pretty rude, I thought.
Bristol was really bad for people talking too. I only ever used to come across this at London gigs, where people appeared to go to gig purely to say they went to gigs. Nothing to do with liking the music of watching live bands, just box ticking. It's even worse now with Facebook and Twitter. I don't know whether it's me put gigs seem to be quieter than they used to be. Maybe it's because PA tech has advanced and you can get clarity without volume. I've stood next to PAs for whole gigs and walked out at the end without the old ringing ears.
