1. Christ! You don't hang about! Is that a 15 watt Laney valve combo your guitarist is using?
2. Check out Godflesh, more grindcore than metal, but it gives you a good idea. takes about a minute for the drums to kick in. And Pitchshifter.
3.
These came out around the late 90s. A certain quirky charm
I remember the Distortocasters!
4. Currently listening to Clint Mansell's score to Black Swan: His work gets better and better...
5.
I'll probably be shot for saying this, but anyone else thinking that he's a bit of a one-trick pony? Personally, I think his slap playing on that oriental express track is quite intrusive and lacks regard for style/taste or musical sensitivity. It just sticks out like a sore thumb and SCREAMS of someone trying too hard to be heard.
I don't know about all that but that music is just horrible. It's like lift muzak! Either stick with the Korean instruments, which sound amazing, or just have the cheasy listening crap. The "fusion" fails! I prefer the guy's solo efforts!

Bass Chorus

I'm not saying their other pedals are rubbish but the octave one, in my opinion, is. And based on that experience I won't buy another of their boss type pedals. I have a Behringer mixing desk and a few of their mics, all of which are great for the money.

Bass Chorus

I bought a Behringer Octave pedal a couple of years back. It's rubbish. I wouldn't waste the £20 or so on another behringer...
8.
I wondered how long it would be before we got some Sunn O)))
Happy to oblige!
9. Khanate! I saw Gnaw at the Supersonic Festival in October, they were pretty cool! I'm more of a fan of these guys though:
10.

Awesome! I love the first couple of Helmet albums
11. Bah! Congrats though. And top marks to truckstop
12. I used to use a Kyser, I can't remember having any problems with it.
13.
Also, many thanks to the 15 people that have replied with: "I am not a number, I am a free man!"
I was wondering how many would respond with that.
14.
Cheers! I'm a massive fan of stuff that Wino has been doing over the years. The guy seems to know how to lay down some of the heaviest tunes known to man, without having to resort to uber drop tuning. Very talented guy.
Definitely! Once I've finished listening to some Tom Waits, Spirit Caravan and then Wino's solo stuff will be played.
15.
Some more from me This one is best heard through some decent speakers, to get the best from the bowel shaking Gibson EB2 Seriously old school Seriously heavy......Beard Of DOOOM!
Oooh Spirit Caravan! Nice! I can't wait to get home to see what the other links are...
16. I took my 5 string to our last rehearsal, I was forever playing a string too low. I took that as a sign to stick to 4 strings...
17. One more, with an extra long intro... Ok, I lied:
18. To duplicate a post: This: Brilliant footage with some great moves from Ozzy!
