Any one tried an Ashdown 12 band 600 / MK 500 / JJB 500 ?

I have a JJB500 and love it. It’s is a totally clean amp, no grit whatsoever. But it lends itself perfectly to whatever you feed into it. I ran a low gain overdrive, with a blend,into it and it was fantastic. Never any doubt of the power through 8x10s, 4x10s, 2x15s or even a 4x8. -

I've been listening to the Home of Metal podcast about The Mermaid pub in Brum. Famous for being the breeding ground for grindcore and hosting many, many crust gigs. So for most of today I've been listening to:

So you get given a signature model and you scrub the manufacturer's logo from the headstock. If I was Schecter, I'd be rather miffed.

Similarly and a bit more specific: Royal Blue Fender Steve Harris with new D'Addario pro steels, straight into an Ashdown CTM300 (the CTM30 is pretty perfect too) and 2 1x15" cabs. Absolutely my favourite sounding set up. Is it what I use in the, very slowly, developing band? Nope. 😄 -

It could be the single strings come in bulk boxes for retailers, so there's no individual packaging. But to no have even an order note/invoice/complimentary slip is a little slack.
