  1. I'd say, if you can afford the short term hit financially, keep the bass for a bit and give it ago. I'm sure you'd be able to recover your money selling it here, if necessary.
  2. If it's that Ibanez BTB, then I'd say that was a good score!
  3. To be honest I was quite surprised by her cover of Head Like A Hole on Black Mirror. The actual cover, not the reworked pop version, at the end of the episode. Also the little snippets she did of Right Where It Belongs were pretty good too. And I say these things as a massive NIN fan... not seen the Glasto stuff though
  4. Yeah, that's that I think too.
  5. Can you take photos of them square on and Warwick style swept?
  6. erm. I didn't think this all the way through... Someone else post something while I try and come up with something...
  7. Easy! Primus - Southbound Pachyderm
  8. The Portamento basses has 30 “fret” boards
  9. At a pub on the Isle of Wight and reinforced the fact that I’m really not a fan of “classic rock”...

Probably agree, give us a few example tracks as the 'classic' tag can mean different things. Worse still, I was invited into a 'prog rock' band not long ago. Had to decline.  I VERY think not :)

  10. One thing that wasn't was avant-garde. Wasn't particularly noise either...
  11. I've transported a couple of things in the past. I travel between south Wales and the midlands a few times a years, if there's space I wouldn't mind couriering stuff.
  12. Maybe your Android name will be better. That’s the town you were born in and your account number...
  13. They've had larger pedal formats for a long time.
  14. I'm your much poorer stage cousin Looe Starbucks, although if the first choice of beverage dealer had worked out I'd have been: Looe Brown Bear
  15. Back in the late 80s/early 90s I went to a couple of festivals, I hated camping so just picked one day. Went to the Phoenix Festival as I lived 1/2 hour away and a mate could drive. Then in 2002 a bunch of us went to All Tomorrow's Parties at Camber Sands. Now there was a a festival I got into. All indoors, sleeping in a real bed, being able to cook your own food... Unfortunately I never got the chance to do it again... In 2010 I started going to the Supersonic Festival at the Custard Factory in Birmingham. I'd tried to go a couple of times before that, had tickets and such, but stuff happened. I'm from Coventry and my folks still live there. Me and my mates share driving duties. They used to contribute reviews to Louder Than War, so had press passes. Then they started their own little site, and still got passes. Until this year. Usually I have prior knowledge of maybe 3-4 bands playing, but finding new acts to listen to is what the festival is all about for me.
  16. Yeah, Over the last 25 years I've seen him play with all kinds of basses. He's always had an immense sound, but the Ric based set up just edges it, tone wise.
  17. I did post about this a while back 😀
  18. Just got back from seeing Nick Cave do one of his conversation gigs. Question and answers and songs. It was highly entertaining...
  19. The Utopia Strong (Kavus Torabi from Gong, Michael J York from Coil and Steve Davis from snooker)
  20. Nice! There's a hint of Bladerunner to that.
