  10. Further to my previous response I managed to get voice control of music on the SD card to work earlier. Only had the car 9 months and never thought about using it before...
  11. Not really, stick the thing on shuffle before leaving the driveway. Use the steering wheel controls to skip songs I'm not in the mood for. If a song comes on and I want to listen to the whole album take it off shuffle.
  12. He's probably like me. Never knows what mood you're going to be in. So have as much to choose from as possible.
  13. March 21st I traded a Stingray for and Aria SB Black n Gold. That's the last bass specific activity for me. Of course I have spent nearly £1000 on modular synth stuff since then...
  14. In work it's not background music, it's obscuring music. It obscures all the inane chatter in the office. If I really need to concentrate when writing R, Python or SAS code I'll listen to Merzbow, Pain Jerk, Incapacitants etc. Loud, no lyrics, melody, rhythm or beats. Just noise to blot out distractions.
  15. When I'm in the office I listen to an iPod, when I'm working from home I have iTunes running, the car has a 64gb and a 32gb SD cards that are full. But when I want to relax I have several hundred CDs and around 1600 records to chose from...

  17. 95% of my music purchases are either vinyl or CD. Vinyl massively outweighing CDs.
  18. I don't think they'll supply you with a sample of the liquid paint, more a paint chip.
