  1. That's a 3L/2R set If you look at this set, the layout is the same: https://www.thomann.de/gb/schaller_bm_light_3l_2r_c.htm
  2. All true. I was just responding the bit about not needing a computer in the middle.
  3. would this work? http://www.hobbytronics.co.uk/usb-midi-converter
  4. Have to be a been first, then a hasbeen. Then you can spout any old stinky poo to get you name in the papers.
  5. aging hasbeen getting some publicity.* nothing to see here, move along. * I say this as a fan of The Who
  6. The last Wormrot album is bloody marvellous. First time I heard it, it took me right back to how I felt when grindcore first started appearing.
  7. I gave ISDN a blast the other week. Still a great sounding album...
  8. I got to see the wonderful Anna Von Hausswolff playing stuff like this, on the organ in Birmingham Town Hall: The organ is massive, you can just make out where the player sits at the bottom of the photo. https://mander-organs.com/birmingham-town-hall/
  9. Have you wired the new pickup out of phase?
  10. Driving through Europe is fine. I find it harder to readjust back to driving on the left, than adjusting to driving on the right. As for driving in Paris, it's not something I've attempted. But plan a few different routes to your destination and allow a lot of extra time. Does the venue not have parking you could leave the van?
  11. Did I read somewhere Behringer were entering the modular synth market too?
  12. The seller is/was, a member on here.

    What midi?

I think the issue is midi over USB to PC is an issue. Old school; midi keyboard -> midi interface ->PC isn't

    What midi?

what's your budget? Do you just need a keyboard (how many octaves?) or do you want drum pads and/or rotary controls too?
  15. This brach gets some nice basses in. Last time I was there they had a Sandberg for about £700
  16. Coventry and Birmingham in the mid to late 80s, with the rise of crust, grindcore and death metal, were pretty lively. And yeah, Bristol has a massive music scene at the moment.
  17. You can't just leave it like that!!
  18. I was a little dubious by all the hype. But this is surprisingly good.
  19. well gravy couldn't make them any worse...
  20. potato cakes, also good with gravy
  21. Perfect for an 80s hair metal tribute band...
  22. I should be a massive Sleep fan. They tick lots of boxes and I have Jerusalem/Dopesmoker and Holy Mountain. But they just don’t click with me. I much prefer OM.
  23. Just read up on the little switches on the pickups. Interesting idea...
  24. I've got a P bass with a Badass II and a bitsa with the Fender version. I don't find much difference between them.
