1. MEC jazz pickups and a 3 band preamp And A Dimarzio Model One will be posted tomorrow.
 2.
I had one last night, absolutely beautiful beer! Sweet, light with plenty of head. 9% mind, so I only had 1 (he gave me three 75cl bottles).
You can't beat a good Belgian beer, and practically all Belgian beers are good.
 3.
Shame they've not done more, I bloody love Julie Christmas
Same here. Have you hear her solo album and the Cult of Luna one? And BRX. I have Dummy on Vinyl. But having listened to the cd once a month since it was released I know which pop and clicks aren't meant to be there, when listening to the vinyl...
 4.
Is that a new Battle Of Mice or a re-pressing of A Day Of Nights?
It's A Day of Nights plus a couple of other tracks https://www.discogs....release/9249392
 5.
If I were a landlord I'd have the equivalent of a 'swear jar'. Any band coming to play at my venue would be fined for playing certain songs on the 'banned list' ha ha! Starting with Sweet Child O' Mine, Living On A Prayer and definitely Sex On Fire, which is a dreadful song
Really need a like button on these forums... It reminds me of Musical Exchanges (in Cov and Brum) having a joke list of songs not to play when trying a guitar, and a list of punishments. I can only remember a couple: Stairway to Heaven and they asked you leave the shop Any Status Quo and they gave you a chord book
 6.
Nope I've split the 810 internally so the two inputs on the back each go to a 410.
two vertical stacks?
 7. Surely you need a 2nd 810 and just run them both all the time?
 8. I was flying back from Portugal so got a friend, who was going any way, to pick me up my primary choices. Spacemen 3 - Playing With Fire (I feel a little guilty about this as the band were asking people not to buy the RSD releases as they'd see none of the royalties) Dirty Three - Ufkuko (Been feeling a lot of love for Warren Ellis recently) Pearl Jam - State of Love and Trust 7" She got all three for me. I'll pop in to the local shop on Wednesday to see if they have anything else left. I'd like the Psychic TV stuff too. But I think RSD has done it's job and needs to end or reformat somehow. With each year it clogs up the pressing plants more and more, delaying nonRSD releases. I've been waiting for a Battle of Mice release since January, but it kept getting delayed. Release date is now May.
 9. That's the first Bongo that hasn't made me think of a toilet. In fact, I like it very much!
 10.

Chocolate Limes...
 11. I'd like side dots, in the correct place for fretless and short quarter lines on, the G side of, the board. The dots (in fretted position) and quarter lines on my Ibanez Portamento kinda annoy me.
 12. I've got a Dimarzio Model One if you need it... also, as I need to strip my old Warwick down, there's a 3 band MEC Pre-amp. EDIT2: ha, just realised you may as well have the Warwick jazz pickups too...
 13.
They are just like Yes lyrics. As I was reading them I could hear Jon Anderson singing them in my head.
But they're better because they're not Yes lyrics..
 14. Everyone needs to see The Evil Usses!! EDIT: I'm digging your band too! That's going to be a pretty interesting gig...
 15. First album I bought with my own money. Woolworths in Coventry, January 1979. My uncle had played it to me on New Years Eve, so as soon as the shops were open again I went and got it. I was 6 years old, I still have it.
 16.
I don't think so, a monosynth would be fine. I have an old roland module that I could use if I need polyphonic stuff. I'd like a dedicated bass synth.
In that case the world is your oyster. I've got an Arturia MiniBrute that I'm very impressed with.
 17.
I've got a Billy Gould signature on order, due May 2016 !!!!!! Not my pic but you get the idea !!
has this arrived yet?
 18.
Those both look really good, unfortunately that just expands the possibilities and leaves me even more unsure .
Will you want to play more than one note at the same time? as that can thin the selection down...
 19. and back to the actual topic: Pirate Ship Quintet:
 20. No, but Helen Money on bass is awesome. The initial noise bit only lasts about 5 mins
 21.
Hi chris. I see. Is the 'old body shape' still available, would it have to be via special request?
I think they were told to stop producing the old shape.
 22. Red Sparowes: At the Soundless Dawn album tracklist: "Alone and Unaware, the Landscape was Transformed in Front of Our Eyes" "Buildings Began to Stretch Wide Across the Sky, And the Air Filled with a Reddish Glow" "The Soundless Dawn Came Alive as Cities Began to Mark the Horizon" "Mechanical Sounds Cascaded Through the City Walls and Everyone Reveled in Their Ignorance" "A Brief Moment of Clarity Broke Through the Deafening Hum, But It Was Too Late" "Our Happiest Days Slowly Began to Turn into Dust" "The Sixth Extinction Crept Up Slowly, Like Sunlight Through the Shutters, as We Looked Back in Regret" and Every Red Heart Shines Towards the Red Sun album: "The Great Leap Forward Poured Down Upon Us One Day Like a Mighty Storm, Suddenly and Furiously Blinding Our Senses." "We Stood Transfixed in Blank Devotion as Our Leader Spoke to Us, Looking Down on Our Mute Faces with a Great, Raging, and Unseeing Eye." "Like the Howling Glory of the Darkest Winds, This Voice Was Thunderous and the Words Holy, Tangling Their Way Around Our Hearts and Clutching Our Innocent Awe." "A Message of Avarice Rained Down and Carried Us Away into False Dreams of Endless Riches." "'Annihilate the Sparrow, That Stealer of Seed, and Our Harvests Will Abound; We Will Watch Our Wealth Flood In.'" "And by Our Own Hand Did Every Last Bird Lie Silent in Their Puddles, the Air Barren of Song as the Clouds Drifted Away. For Killing Their Greatest Enemy, the Locusts Noisily Thanked Us and Turned Their Jaws Toward Our Crops, Swallowing Our Greed Whole." "Millions Starved and We Became Skinnier and Skinnier, While Our Leaders Became Fatter and Fatter." "Finally, as That Blazing Sun Shone Down Upon Us, Did We Know That True Enemy Was the Voice of Blind Idolatry; and Only Then Did We Begin to Think for Ourselves."s, as We Looked Back in Regret"
 23. It's worth it. Even though I knew it would happen, it was still a pleasant surprise seeing a fullscreen window, on my 15" MBP, turn into a 1/4 screen window on my 4K tv. Suddenly there's MASSIVE amounts of desktop real estate...
 24.
no, not infectious at all. nothing carried by blood(or saliva, semen etc) can survive outside of the human body for very long AFAIK
Hepatitis can survive for about 6 weeks at room temp, granted this isn't long if the blood is years old...
