Before ordering the Gotoh, just check out the Fender High Mass bridge. It's what Fender turned the Bad Ass II into. You can pick up a new one for about £30 from places.

He's the reason I got a bass. Learned to play loads of Maiden when I was younger, forgotten it all now though... I should re learn them as there's very few other bands with such fun bass lines...

I've learned that playing fretless bass is fantastic fun. So much so that I've barely touched a fretted bass since the beginning of October.
