Total Watts

  1. Hi, I would like to get your advice about the best bass I can buy . The SX is 240€ and the HB 153€, both body are made of american ash , I guess the main difference are the pickups. The SX is the bass to buy or HB is better, despite the lower price? Regards
  2. I know is an entry level bass, but I wonder if is good.I think is active, anyone knows it and may help me?
  3. Just for home pratice and play some gigs in the future, but for now just home practice.I can buy the rumble 40 s/h. I have been listening the rumble and for 15 watts seems fine.I Guess I Will keep it.
  4. And a Fender rumble 40 watts?
  5. Hi, I have a Fender Rumble 15 watts combo(bass amp), I wonder if an Ampeg rb 108 is a worthwhile upgrade or is it a side move. The rb 110 has 50 watts, but is expensiver.
  6. I’ve bought today a Yamaha mint bb200 bass for 150€(the seller was asking 180€).I would like to get some feedback. This is a bass from 1990/94 and it is descontinued now. What was the original price? Is it an entry level or intermediate bass?
  7. Well, I have bought the Ibanez SR300 after a short demo. Is ok, but beeing active is a bit weird for me, all the basses I had before were passive.
  8. A guy on You Tube seems not like all the features of this bass, he says he would like less features but better ones.
  9. Hi, I have an Ibanez GSR 180 bass, I wonder if the SR300 would be much better?
  10. Thank you, it makes sense.Yes, for now the most important is to practice and learn, The Fender is fine for that, I have time in a year or two to buy another bass amp.I liked the Orange, but for now I just want to play and have fun.I have all the information I nedeed, after reading all of your posts! Thank you to all!
  11. Yes, I am starting out with bass!
  12. I am a guitarrist, not a bass player, I pretend the amplifier to practice. However I heard yesterday a 50 watts bass amp and is great, even for practice.Ok, to play with others I Will need more power
  13. Well, I have a Roland Cube 20 XL bass amplifier, is similar to Orange.
  14. I have been reading on the Net that Orange amplifiers are best for hard rock and heavy metal. Is it right?
