  1. I have one of these, very nice for the price! Pickups are great particularly the J.
  2. Owff! I’m having a think 🤔 someone jump on this before I spend money I don’t have !
  3. Ouch ! That’s a good price, nowhere near Wales unfortunately. Courier a possibility?
  4. https://youtu.be/jWeM34syrsA A live studio session. The overdrive on the bass was not what I intended and was not coming through the monitors ! Hey ho, to my ears I also sound out of tune at the start ! Which I was not during performance. 🤔 is this my ears ? Comments, thoughts etc welcome
  5. I’m considering selling my rig GB STreamliner 600 barefaced 210. Loud enough for almost any gig and great EQ if you’ve the budget a 210 Barefaced @ 4ohms with the head your talking about will be more than adequate
  6. Someone correct me if I’m wrong but they’re will be very little difference between 2 210’s and one 410. The biggest benefit from the 210’s will be flexibility (small rig /big rig) But remember the ohms! What are the ohm ratings on the cabs? If the 410 is an 8ohm cab you’ll get roughly half your wattage (300w) and the 210’s are 8 ohm (each cab, total load 4 ohm) you’ll get the full 600w from your head.
  7. An additional 210 (8ohm) as already suggested seems like the way to go. I’m not familiar with your combo but sounds like it supports an 8 ohm extension cab and as mentioned your Output will roughly double. This is also likely to be the most cost effective way.
  8. I think I watched this and it was helpful but I could do with examples from real music, helps the feel. His video is good tho
  9. Any examples of quarter note triplets out there ? Recently trying out some reading practice again and came across them. I’m comfortable with 8th note triplets.
  10. Agreed so possibly like Bassman72 says 5th and 6th Tuning peg holes added later? The relative unknowns of its origin and Condition is why I’ve listed at this price. Rather than it gather dust it might be useful to someone
  11. No idea what this came from originally. It was on a the banjo bass which was a project put together by an acquaintance 10 years ago. In its project form it was used as a 4 string (4 string nut/bridge etc) so I assumed that originally it was a 6 string neck selected for its width to make it work with the banjo bass project.
  12. How much for Motown, Harmonics and JS Bach? pm’d
  13. Where are you based?
  14. 😬 another Smoothie on the forum ! Serious gas attack! Tried one at the gallery through a Tonehammer last year, it really is smoother than a smooth thing on a smooth day. Somehow I even sounded good playing it! Remortgage/refinance may have to occur
  15. Cheers I’ll have think and consult the bank balance 😉
  16. Anyone actually tried these ? (Guitar sound systems Sumo ? )
  17. Y That’s would be great be nice to see what options there are.
  18. Think their website is being updated at the mo thanks tho
  19. I’m selling My Tonehammer 350 and keeping the Tonehammer pedal reason being some gigs we have backline provided so I just rock up with the preamp pedal I dial in my tone.
  20. Thanks dude yes weight/bulk/portability on my mind now
  21. Nice 👍 I’m now worrying about weight as I’ve got rather used to the Tonehammer
  22. Just found a crown ce1000 on evilbay is that the sort of thing? Ratings 250w per channel stereo 8 ohm 450w per channel stereo 4 ohm 900w bridged 8ohm 1100w bridged 4ohm it looks like it had a Hot input and a normal input too I’m guessing this is similar to the 1.4v 0.775 switch in the model gottastopbuyinggear mentioned. More power than I need but if I put my 4 ohm Barefaced 210 cab in one channel in stereo mode what will the result be ? I.E will a stereo output sound different? All that power might be handy when I (🤞) build a biggger rig. I’m imagining a 6x10 using 3 Barefaced 210’s (12 ohm mode of course) 😁
  23. Interesting, thanks for your input ! Sounds like a lot of power on the XLS 1002!
