13.
I'm interested as a complete photo process novice, what and how "refinished" is achieved?
Hi mate - to this standard then it's a lot of work. For this particular photo

Turn and recrop
Levels adjustments
Curves adjustment
Colour correction
Dust removal
Background removal
Background desaturated
Background lightened
Background blurred
Image sharpened - luminosity only
Image duplicated and resized for web
Image resharpened for web, completely different process to the hi res - again luminosity only
It's boring tech stuff I know. But, the best advice I can give if you want to learn to do it really well is this; The best online training I know of I learned here and it's so good that even after years of doing this I still subscribe and use the place for training and ideas.
 14. And your 1st photograph refinished. What a beauty it is!
 15. Hi Tom - I hope you don't mind, but I refinished the last of your photographs on your behalf. For no other reason than I know this bass and it's a stunner - I just wish I could have photographed it for you! Good luck with the sale!
 16. PS - as anyone who has dealt with me will confirm, I'm more than happy to haggle provided the net result is a win/win for both parties.
 17. And now for sale. I've had two generous cash offers so I'm going to stick this up for sale asking for offers around the £1,000 mark. I'm working my way to getting a Ric again. I'll also listen to trade + cash offers if it's cash coming my way. And if someone want to trade me for a Ric then we'll both be in clover
 18.
I will trade you £690
Well. If you could see some of the fantastic trades I've been offered you will understand why I won't be trading it for 690 of your lovely British pounds

S
EQ control - Bass, Mid & Treble - all with notched centre points, boost and cut. Pup pan control - with notched centre Vol control - no notched centre.
 20. That's all for now
 21.
I refuse to even entertain the idea of looking at this bass until it is in the hands of a beautiful woman!!
Heh - no money in my pocket to pay today. So, here it is denuded of stands as it were.
 22.
Have you a price please? One like this sold on eBay last week for £680 which I was tempted to bid on.
Not at this time - but certainly a lot more than £680. You should have bought it!
 23. Whilst there are signs of use, small dings and surface abrasions, nothing of note and you do have to look for them. Overall in very, very good condition and most importantly - it sounds rich and full and deep and strong. Awesome bass.
 24. The finish on the binding is first class.
