( terrible : 2nd degree, as an earthquake, amazing...etc...ironic you know ) but , may be, it could be due to the photographer... cause I'm not fan of Jazz in general, but I find this one beautiful..... Do I need to continue ? or is it clear ? (But my english is not so clear I think.... )
Clear enough mon amee
2.
Is she included in the sale?
She is a karate expert (indeed, her sister is a black belt) so, basically, I'm not brave enough to ask her. Even in jest. I'm sure you understand
3.
The only Jazz I find terrible... Maybe due to the the extrem talentuous photographist...
Maybe it's the translation, but are you saying you find this jazz terrible because I'm an extremely talentless photographer? I've had my fair share of criticism over the years, but if I am right then that's something special to remember
4.
Pictures of the front and back of the unit for sale itself.
If £200 is too rich - I'll drop the price. £175 + £10 for shipping. A bargain, I'd say.
5.
white binding I think.
White binding it is.
6. As promised - a few more photographs to illustrate this magnificent bass.
7. I've never seen a sweeter example.
8. Hi guys - I've started this thread again because the last one developed into a debate on paypal. So, for sale: a stunning Fender USA Ltd. edition Jazz '75 re-issue. It will be supplied with a good quality, hard-shell case. It sounds as good as you could hope for a bass with such historical importance and plays like funky butter. I'm looking for offers around the £1050 mark or interested in trades for a Ric 4003. More photographs to follow.
9. The ebony jazz, with antique white scratchplate in colour.
10. For sale: an absolutely stunning example of the Jazz bass, complete with J East J-Retro 01 pre-amp and added, chrome, genuine F plate to finish with a vision of bottom end perfection. It also has a hard case - non-Fender this time, but very good nonetheless. I'm looking for offers around the £700 mark, or I can take out the J-Retro ( if you are like, well, mental or something) and then make it available for £590 - or very near offers. Unless someone wants to swap/trade/haggle with a Ric 4003? Either way I'll be happy - more pics to follow. Of course.
11. Just to confirm that today, I had a PayPal transaction take place (funds paid to me) with no resulting charges. When on the send money page there are two sub-tabbed options 1. Purchase 2. Personal By choosing personal>other the result was no charge. I hope this is of help to some.
12.
HI give matte the first refusal, if he no longer is interested let me know and a cheque will be in the post.
Very kind of you Steve, but Matt has agreed to take it. Thanks and now sold
13. Hi guys - XT it is. First come first served
14.
Lovely looking bass Aandra. Bonnie wee lassie too even if she looks a bit dour. Must be a Helensburgh maid?
She's not from Helensburgh, but got here as quick as she could. The lass, Celin, is a Londoner.
15. In response to the PM's I've had about the price - I paid £1400 for it, so I'm looking for offers around the £1075 mark + shipping. Or you can of course collect it from me in person in Glasgow for a tenner to cover my petrol.
16.
Lysdexia I like the way you tease us by giving the photos out gradually, keeps people coming back to your thread. A couple of weeks back I spent ages looking through literally every photo on your flickr account, they were amazing you have a true talent. Now where's that next photo?......
Thank you! Photography is great fun - processing the images for viewing much, much less so. I spend maybe 30 hours a week planked in front of a screen editing So, I'll get more up shortly. Feel free to order a print in the meantime
17.
send money as a gift using paypal, that avoids all charges
Cheers, Kev, that's much bloody simpler than my cack-handed explanation!
18.
Nope... you've lost me on that one! I'm looking to sell a couple of basses Internationally and one guy in the States needs to pay via PayPal (quite a substantial sum, so I'll be hit for about £100 in charges), if we could do that without incurring charges we'd both be over the moon; are you saying it can be done?
Example 1. If I was to send money within the UK - you have two, tabbed options to send as 'purchase' or 'personal'. If the money is sent as personal>other then PayPal accept that as a private transaction and there are no charges for using it. Example 2. The chap who just bought a bass from me in Holland, did not have the choice available to him and so had to send it as a purchase. PayPal charged as they would for any eBay transaction. So, you would have to check with the buyer if he has the option available in their country.
19. More to follow later.
20.
Hiya That's interesting about Paypal .. Can you just clear up the difference though? Both look like >personal>other
Well, they are the same, but one I referred to when you DON'T use that option and then again to indicate the service can be free if you DO use it. I just found out, for example, the folks in Holland don't even get the choice.
21. I play bass, I photograph models. Being able to bring them together is really tough for me. But, you know, for you guys...I'll soldier on
22. Hi guys - a stunning example of this bass, limited to a run of 1,000. Finished in metallic candy apple red with matching headstock and pearloid scratch plate. More pics to follow BTW - I don't mind accepting paypal, but please be aware that payment can take 3-5 days to clear and also that if you do not send the money as >personal>other, then PayPal will charge just as they do on eBay. If you do send via >personal>other, then it is free! It also seems that not all countries have this option, so any extra charges will have to be met if you want to pay via paypal.
23. Pictures of the front and back of the unit for sale itself.
24. This is the unit itself for sale, complete with power supply and manual - but no box. Will be packed within an inch of it's life for delivery though. Dunno what these go for - but feel free to make me an offer around the £75 mark + £7 for insured delivery.
