It all depends on what you use it for I guess , Ive only used a 5 for covers where the key needed a lower B

I've enjoyed a few minutes on my phone , but will plug into the hifi to tomorrow so I can listen with the bass more present

I had a VMJ a number of years ago , certainly can't be faulted for the money

Same , if you rule out banter . I can't imagine any guitarist who really thinks like that about another component in the band being any good as a band member , either musically or personality wise , so if I did I guess it would not be for me anyhow , even at functions level

If I've got a nice tone in my rig I can enjoy my playing , sometimes if I wonder away and near another monitor or toward the front speakers and I hear a less lovely tone it puts me off , so for that reason I think "I'm worth it"

I'd have said ok but I'll do it in A flat , that would limit his noddling skills

What pots does a RW Jazz come with ? Ive 4 CIJ basses and whilst I absolutely love the build of them (I don't need an MIA) I've upgraded the wiring and pots in all of them

I had this years ago , I was putting the hours in as a carpenter then . I had some ultra sound , wore a band and changed a few bad techniques and managed to get on top of it good luck

Every self employed person is effectively fined when they need to go to a appointment or have a family issue . I do feel for people who like the man in the article but unfortunately a lot of the companies policies are to protect the company against the large amount of people who take to Micheal out of their employer , sadly this means innocent good workers get effected by it

Low level functions band getting rid of a good and reliable bassist after 6 years because for age ? There must be more going on than just that ? If not then the relationships can't be that good anyway and id not want to be in a band for 6 years with people who didn't like each other that much

If the guys in the main band are friendly , just focus on enjoying those developing friendships and let the singer say the same thing every gig , he'll soon start to look like more of a tit in their eyes each time

Does it have to be gigs you went to ? If not is love to have seen CSN around the late 70s

Mine works flawlessly , however I do always duck tape the battery door shut and put it in my back pocket (clips in the bin) In short , great electronically , rubbish housing

Years ago I didn't gig for 7 years because I had young kids and my day job was all consuming and I wanted the weekends for family , this would have absolutely suited me during that period , providing they didn't want to rehearse more than they gigged.
