Hi all, Thinking about moving on my Barefaced G2 Compact cab (1x15) with vintage cloth grill. Cab is 9/10 condition, with the Roqsolid cover being around 7/10 (so doing its job ), to be fair, it's just marks on the cover, nothing ripped or anything. The cover has a board pocket and comes with a piece of board already in it to protect the grill. Collection / Meetup only High Wycombe/Welwyn Garden City areas. North London is also fairly easy SOLD Cheers Si

I had some repair work done on my DL-4 by Martin and couldn't recommend him enough! Si
-
-
Why don't you ask Martin? He's a bit of a whizz and it would surprise me if he couldn't mod a build to work better with bass for you. Certainly the original Rat was a low-end suck! Not sure about the YDR though. Si
-
I'd say you'd pick up an OC-2 for sub £80?! Certainly the Taiwan models Si
-
Yet people only moan about Foder pricing lol Looks lovely though! Si
-
Interesting, although doesn't that run into the expression in of another pedal? Si
Yeah that was the original plan but the Fueltank came up 2nd hand for £60 with the Pedaltrain and the compressor I was eyeing up before the Keeley needed 18v.
Ah ok gotcha. Wow that's a hungry compressor! Si
-
So I shifted around my main board to make things a little easier to get to, not pretty, but very versatile! Signal chain is Bass -> DIY looper painted by Laura Bennett -> Line6 M5 -> OC-2 -> MXR Bass Envelope Filter -> COG Mini 66 in a larger enclosure painted by Claire Cousins -> back to looper -> amp. Powered by Diago with a Gigrig Timelord isolating the M5 Si

Boss OC2 Keely Bassist Compressor TU2 Pedaltrain Nano+ All powered by a Fueltank Jr. My gigs don't really call for much more than some synthy OC2 stuff. Otherwise, just the compressor which I only got today, which will be an always on job. Very impressed with it so far, incredibly easy to dial in. Just got to get some velcro and mount the Fueltank underneath and then patch it all in. I've played the last two years with only a clip on tuner, but I'm really looking forward to having a simple but effective board again 😁
Nice! But you don't even really need the fuel tank! Put the three pedals on a Nano, and just daisy chain the power to the other two from the TU-2. Si
Imagine having the kind of money to be able to walk in and just say 'I want a replica'. That is when things are great in life!
I imagine that owning that bass, the owner probably has quite a close relationship with Fender. A master built is probably 4-5k?, I imagine he might get a slight concession simply because they get to work on such a piece of history, gets their customers excited etc. Basically just Fodera money + the history involved. But who knows Si
-
If Jason spent the day with it with the owner, guessing that means one of two things: 1) A CS limited run of '59 Protos 2) The owner wants a replica to gig. Very cool though! Si
-
I don't own any Ashdown anymore, but their service record (and service I've experienced with my previous ABM) is a big reason I'd buy again! Si
-
Ah ok yeah, the Rise mode by the sounds of it. Not as gated at the end of the phrase as the VST.....but I don't expect it to be exact. Cheers all Si

I'm after a particular Phaser sound and wondered if anyone had happened across it. Essentially I would like the phaser to run low to high as it normally does, but then reset back to low to high as opposed to descending again, the exact sound can be heard on our track at 2:19 (although feel free to listen to all of it) : https://corybantic.bandcamp.com/track/landlubber That's obviously a particular plugin we used, and I have a simply Ibanez Phaser for live, but would like to try and get closer to it. Perhaps knows of a particular TC Toneprint which could do it? Si

Hi all, I have two LM2s and looking to move one on. These are obviously discontinued now and have the analogue power section that a lot of people prefer to the newer digital power of the LM3. Mine is 7/10 condition, but really it is only a few minor surface scratches on the top of the unit. I don't have the box/bag, but will be sufficiently packaged (see my feedback) and can throw in a mains cable if needed. P&P is £5 for UPS in the UK Collection possible from High Wycombe/Welwyn Garden City Photos to follow tonight when I get home. SOLD Cheers Si

NRY - New rig year! Mixing light and heavy - Update!
Cant speak for the 1126s, but i play in a 6 piece function band and i use a single TKS S112, without PA support for the majority of the time. I do have a second cabinet, but more often than not i don't feel i need it. I would guess 2 X 1126s is more than enough for most gigs until we start talking stadiums and the like
Wow, quietest 6 piece ever? Si -

Nice, I was hoping the Brian Cook enclosure wouldn't sell at the latest Special Effects, but it did lol Si

How do you find the 1126s now you've lived/gigged with them a little? I'm considering them Do you use them without PA support at all? Si -
My son was born in 2016........does that count? Just kidding, I don't want a Flea bass.....looks lovely though! The spec could only be improved by binding (keep the dots), and lollipop tuners. Si
Bc it can never be replaced...
So just be careful with it?! A bass is a bass, no matter what paint job it is, play it into the ground for many years Si
-
I would be wary about playing a '61 stack knob, one of only 3 in that colour ever made, and taking it out on the road.
Why? Si
