4. Hi all, Took this bass in as part of a trade, and whilst it sounds lovely, currently it's not for me. I've rehosted the photos from the original owner below (if that's not ok with him, please do let me know and I'll take them down). As per the title, this should not be confused with the Japanese version, this is the Fender USA version of Marcus' signaure bass. It comes with a BadAss Bridge, although the original bridge is also included. At some time, due to a fault, the G string tuner has been replaced with an official Hipshot tuner. These look exactly the same as Fender licenced the design for a while, the only visible different being that the replacement is branded 'Hipshot'. The bass is in generally good condition, however it has clearly been gigged a lot (which is what you do with a great bass right). As such, there is some wear. Nothing bad at all, just some dinks and surface impacts here and there. Nice action, plays lovely. There is a control knob missing in these photos, this is now back on the bass. Original G&G 'vintage' Fender hardcase included with all the hangtags/manuals etc (pictured). Essentially I'm looking to recover what it owes me, SOLD, preferable as a cash sale. However I will consider part ex's upto half the price. Specifically I am quite interested in a Peavey T-40 or a Squire Vintage Modified P5 (White). I could also be potentially tempted with an Aguilar TH-500. MORE PHOTOS: http://postimg.org/gallery/300op8zei/ Many thanks Si

7.
Out of interest Si, what pickups and pickup config have you got in that beauty? Also what colour is that? Cheers mate!
They're Haussel pickups, a Humbucker in the bridge & obviously a Precision. Controls are just V/V/T 33" scale Chambered body (bass weights 7.3lbs, no neck dive) - upcost Shoreline gold body & matching headstock. - upcost Hipshot 1/2 Ultralite tuners - upcost It's a beauty! Handbuilt, under £900 with a free bag and strap, both excellent. Si
8.
Hi all , I know a bit Adrian , he and I are chatting often as we work together. I can safely say he is so passionate about his company and his Job... he will NEVER sell to anybody. There's actually 17 people working and living thanks to his basses. They have experienced their best year so far in 2015 by building more than 500 Basses and something like 368 custom O_O ....
Very cool, glad to be a part of it Si

10. If you want a Stingray, I'd buy a Stingray. However Maruszczyk will build you anything you want, so in answer to your initial query, basically yes. I couldn't find a Precision with the very specific spec I wanted, so a Maruszczyk (for under £1K I might add) was a no brainer. Maybe you could simply have him build it passive, but with a control cavity in the rear.....then just drop in one of the many 'vintage' 2 eq musicman clone preamps yourself. Lots of people make them (including a member on here if I remember correctly), but East would be a good place to start: http://www.east-uk.c...nob-2-band.html He sells it without the control plate, so all you need to ensure is that Adrian drilled your bass with at least 3 control holes plus a jack socket. You could even buy the preamp (you might even find an actual vintage MM 2 band on eBay?!), and ship it to Adrian perhaps, and they'll wire it in, just ask him Si
11. Look up Cody Wright if you haven't already, the new generation Bobby Vega (technique wise anyway) Si
12.
My order was December 10th so god knows when I'll actually recieve it. I'm sure Adrian originally quoted 10 weeks. Still, can't be far off. I'm hoping to get it soon
They would have had some time out for NAMM I expect. Mine took 13 weeks deposit to my door. Si
13. Many thanks Si
14. Out of interest, how much does it weigh? Cheers Si
15. Hi Doug, Glad that you had a good experience! . I'll be sure to pass it on to the spares guys. Many thanks Simon // Focusrite Novation Technical Support
16. Really loving the relic'd Ibanez hollowbodies & SR Singlecut. The Orange O bass was the single biggest 'wtf' moment for me.....like.....really? You waited for winter NAMM to announce this thing?! Blurgh The TC Ditto X4 looks very impressive too! Si
17. Bump, potential trades of interest would be a 24 fret 5 string, MM Stingray (vintage preferable or single 'H' version), Peavey T-40....or hit me up with what you've got. No more than 2k in part-ex worth Si
18. Familiar with the name, although never played one. Hand built in Finland, well made & mostly passive.....what else is there to know Si
19.
Did anyone see that Sadowsky have now joined the singlecut club? I like it. http://sadowsky.com/single-cut/
It does look nice, but the heel/neck join is weird and just looks clumsy to me. Si
20. I think we've quickly arrived at the 'I like something you don't' part of the evening lol. Si
21. I ordered a few bits from them a couple of weeks ago and were very responsive to email & phone. Hope you get it sorted Si
22.
Me too, might have to pick one of these up. I fancy it more than the comp, but I shall reserve judgement until I've played one. C
Would very much like to A/B it against my original! Si
