[/quote] They don't do the same thing, although the shimmer reverb essentially sounds like the tails are pitched up. The Eterna is reverb and the Organizer is a -/+ pitch pedal with changeable lag (so the processed sound can trail your initial note a bit). They are actually my favourite combo of pedals ever, they sound so good together for sound-scapy goodness. Si

They'll outline the very basics, and essentially state 'we the undersigned agree to sign the contract in full'.......which of course could then include some not very nice clauses. Si

  8. It has been pointed out to me that you can (quite obviously) mute the Markbass 801s speaker when just wanting to use the headphone out. This means that I officially have no issues with the 801, it's bloody brilliant Si
  9. None of your pedals are particularly thirsty, nor hardcore digital pedals, so I don't think isolated outputs would be overly necessary. I'm a big advocate of the Gigrig system, great products and solid powering solutions. Si
  10. If you're ok with a soldering iron, get a Wooly Mammoth or Muff kit from FuzzDog, probably £30-£35 tops Si

  15. Yeah, have had bands which uploaded stuff and got played. Even got asked to do a live session on 3 Counties as a result of that I think. Most recently played on BBC Introducing Guernsey with the new project as the guitarist (based in London) is from Guernsey. Si

  18. I consistently move between a 19mm 4 string Precision and a 17.5mm 5 string Fodera, and that seems like an easy move to me. I don't think I'd make too much fuss over string spacing, I accept an old Precision as 19mm, and my 5 as 17.5mm, that makes them the instrument that they are, why I play them I've also had 19mm 5 strings and have an 18mm 5 string too, everything has been comfortable after a little while. My only excretion to that was an ACG 5 I had, set to 16mm and that was toooo thin for me, was adjustable probably to 17mm or so, but sold before I changed it. The Scott Devine Overwater Jazz 4 string is 16.5mm and that just looks weird, bet it's fast though! So, I wouldn't get caught up in string spacing (no pun intended), try a bunch of basses, buy the one that is most comfortable. Si

  23. Basically, most 'well known' luthiers will make you a world class bass. There's an abundance in the UK: Sei, Wal, Shuker, ACG, GB, Status. That's before you look further afield, the amount of luthiers worldwide making stunning basses for cheaper than you can buy a Fender or Warwick custom shop is staggering. The trick is knowing exactly the spec you want, perhaps it's a spec that you've lived with in another bass for a while, but want to up the quality. With custom basses it's often difficult to 'try before you buy', but you can usually get fairly close. It's also about finding a builder who gets your vision and is excited about your build. Si

  25. Hi all, Been a while since I played a 'rock' show since First Signs Of Frost packed up, so glad to start gigging with my new project Corybantic. Math Rock / Gypsy Jazz crossover, effectively there's a lot of odd meter riffs and expensive chords .
