1. £100 for a 614, nice! And I thought I got a good deal on a 615 at £180 lol Si
2. Antigua burst....that's all I'm saying Si
3. Digitech/Juan have just clarified: The output is TRS: Tip = Octave+Sub, Ring = Dry Sleeve = Ground Boom, you'll need a long insert cable to get from the MB to the amp/DI, but it's workable! Si
4. Just in case anyone wasn't aware, the auctions are up over here: https://reverb.com/s...itstocurecancer Good luck to anyone who is bidding, I certainly will be Si
5. It is probably the nicest looking P5 I've seen! And obviously pure quality too! Si
6. Just a shame the dry-out has disappeared. A great way to use the Meatbox through a PA and not destroy your speakers was to use the dry out to your amp and the wet out to your DI box. Si
7. I reckon my Fuzzrocious BDPG counts Si
8. I don't know much about bass construction (I've played 33" 5ers with lovely Bs). But what I do know is that if you increase the size of the strings core (not the guage of the winding), you increase tension. Si

I wonder if there's been a run on them?! To be fair I just ordered 1x Pink 1590a, so hardly a large stock Si
10. I have to say, I went from 19mm 4strings, and an 18mm 5 string, to the 17.5mm of the MGS with no issues. It seems to be a string spacing that lends it's itself to easy playing without being too tight or alien! I had a 16.5 ACG before the MGS and that was a bit tight for me. Anyway, good luck with the sale. Si
11. Got an indication of delivery date bud? Si
12. Yes yes yes, but how do you pronounce it??? Si
13.
I'm a hideous gonk, never felt comfortable infront of a camera.
Oh, Mick (The Greek) should take credit for the idea, I'm happy to just try and make it happen Si
14. Doesn't look anything like Marleux M-Bass. Not a great singlecut shape that! Si
15. I'd probably leave the neck as it is if it's all original, obviously the bodies worth has been decreased, but if you ever sell it, the neck would up the worth if its untouched. However if the neck has also been fiddled with previously, refinished etc, then why not! Si
16. Loving it!! Very cool bass you got out of this!! Si
17. Hi all, Couple of pedals still to he sold. Whilst all these pedals are in good condition, there may be a couple of marks or nicks here and there, they are fairly old after all. But generally in decent condition Trades/part ex for a cheapish delay or a Darkglass Vintage Microtubes Collection in Welwyn Garden City or High Wycombe possible. Here we go: £40 - Boss LM-2 Limiter (Japanese Black Label) - Good condition £35 - DOD FX70 Metal X Distortion - boxed - good condition £35 - Zoom 510 Dual Power Driver - no box - no PSU POSTAGE = £5 anywhere in the UK Cheers Si
18. Will be fitting a set of Crash Magnetic Tranducer P pickups to a project body sometime next week, what exactly do i need to fit under them? Obviously old fenders have a brass plate and some foam, so models just have foam, some have nothing?! The pickups themselves are not 'gooped' into the covers in anyway, so guessing I'll need some foam at the very least to hold everything in place. What's neccessary do you think? Cheers Si
19. Hi guys, Just tidied the thread a little to get it back on track, sure you understand Lets get the picture of the bass back, am intrigued Si
20.
That's a genuine "first world problem" there Si if ever I heard one. Spend £6k on a bass and ignore one of the strings :-)
Haha, you know what I mean .....find it easier to get to grips with than a Low B 5 is my point Si
21.
That is lush. I play 5's less than 50% of the time so can't really justify the purchase, but that is truly lovely. GLWTS.
It's funny, I don't really consider it a 5, as the business end is just a low E rather than a low B getting in the way. It's easier to 'ignore' the high C if it's not appropriate for your gig Si
22.
part of me was hoping you'd say the whammy sounded like the POG ok, cool - something to probably check out then. Harmony settings, maybe with delay, is what tempts me - still tempted to try an EQD pitch bay, just for pedal size considerations!!!
I had a Pitch Bay for a short time, didn't think much of it. Digital sounding (unsurprising perhaps, it's digital), but also kinda difficult to use with precision. I'd probably look at the Bass Whammy if I needed any pitching needs again! Si
