1. It seems you're still paying for 2.5ks worth of machine-made bass......there's no mention of hand-built anywhere. Si
2. Love my FBM, load it with the Gwizdala toneprint, instant awesome solo tone . Glwts bud Si
3. I'll try and do a quick demo of a less extreme setting tomorrow Si
4.
'Played' a Matt Garrison but to me, they are so specialised they are unplayable.. Not for me...and that applies to Fodera in general anyway. I just don't get them.
Interested to know what you think makes it so specialised it's unplayable? Aside from it being a high C instead of the 'usual' low B. Si
5. Seriously can't believe this is still here for this price! Si
6. Yup, I've got a standard Eterna, really cool pedal! I think the only way I'd get rid is if I got hold of the Gold edition Si
7. Absolutely, just a case of a few too many options for the application I needed it for, but a cool pedal none-the-less Si
8. Oh this thread is making me crave one again :-/ Si
9. Thanks for clarifying Doug, especially about the switching As you're probably aware, there are a lot of Darkglass fans here on BC, and for good reason . I didn't quite get on with the B7K, but would be keen to check out the new B3K Cheers Si
10.
These them? Sound like a pro function band. Not 'raw' enough for me. Bit sterile...
I seem to find myself mildly in love with the blonde dancer during Get Lucky around 5:45. That is all, great sounding band though. Si
11. Hi all, This tuner is surplus to requirement. Perhaps you need a treble side Ultralite to add to your 4 string set for a 5 string project?! To be clear, this is orientated for the underside of the headstock, so for example the G string of a 4+1 headstock. Cchrome/satin colour. 1/2" (Standard 'Fender' size holes), Clover shape. £20 Cheers Si
12. It's good!! Only had two interrupted listens so far, but think it's on par.....or possibly better (certainly more ambitious).....than Voodoo (IMO) Si
13. Agree with the above-mentioned point of the Solid colour/ joins issue. If it was originally natural, it'll be an Ash body and a nicer grain, however it was originally a sunburst or solid colour, you'll have an Alder body (no interesting grain to speak of) plus some obvious joins. Your choice of course, and you don't have to make a decision until the current colour is stripped off. I'd use the opportunity to go for a 'rare' custom colour myself Good luck Si
14. These are really really good basses IMO, the price is reflective of why I won't sell mine......too much bass for the money! Snap it up while you can! Si
15. To me, that video just proves that the OC-2 still has more sub?! Although I will say the Octabvres Mu-tron side, into the Envelope Filter does sound great! Si
16. Bag a christmas present for yourself Si
