  1. I guess it might have something to do with the digital power section on the LM3, where the LM2 was analogue. Si
  2. I feel like the guitarist probably should realise if the OP has been consistently asking them to help the band be good haha. Similarly, the singer sounds like she's equally not fussed. If there was a connection with the original drummer who has bailed because of the others.....follow that. Si
  3. I think you've hit the nail on the head here. Two different types of musicians, those who have fun by being in good bands, and those who have fun by being in bands who aren't fussed about being good. Both are legitimate....if you like.......just gotta choose your lane. Si
  4. I'd just bail and see if the previous drummer wanted to do something, find some musicians who do want to take it seriously. Si
  5. Which of us is comparing a festival set mix to a bespoke artist-led production mix? 😇 That minor detail aside, we're comparing the difference between a (albeit passive) Stringray and a Jazz, they sound different, simple as that. The festival set, the bass is present and supportive (tonally) throughout the whole gig, job done, how it compares subjectively to a Stringray is kinda a moot point.....unless you wanna get all Talkbass about it. Si
  6. Were the pickups too high perhaps? Lower those pickups and get them away from the strings to tame it a bit I reckon. Si
  7. Yeah, if in doubt, stay away. Si
  8. Looks like they sold, did you get them? Si
  9. Very cool, all the basses sound amazing, love me some La Bella flats on Precisions. Completely understand him wanting to keep the last Lakland untouched, it means a lot to him to keep the last instrument his dad touched as it was for as long as possible. Si
  10. And I think ‘65 being the last year Fender used Brazilian Rosewood too. Si
  11. Very cool! Would love one with that spec! Si
  12. What's your white P there @BassAgent? Si
  13. @QuatschmacherThanks, yes had seen this. This would be way way at the top of what I'd want to pay, so the colour being wrong (for what I want) kinda kills it. Sure it won't be around for long though. Si
  14. Yeah looks to be a bit all over the place. The decal is mid-late 70's, early 70's/late 60's had the model name in a larger font (as per the bass book picture above). So if all things are legit (questionable at this point), it's a mid-late 70's neck with some muddled 'transition' features haha. Ie possible crossover with no bullet-truss but early logo. Fender were all over the place by that point, so it's possible. The cynic in me would leave it alone unless the price was particularly excellent AND it was a great playing/sounding bass. Si
  15. Really great basses. Whoever buys it will get a fantastic 60’s spec bass with an incredible feeling roasted neck, on par with the likes of Moollon and Olinto IMO. Si
  16. I don’t blame you 😊 Si
  17. If you ever think you might sell that, let me know Si
  18. I think maybe I had this for a very brief moment. Needed a setup when it was with me (was sold before it had one as it was just taken in part-ex), but I could tell it was a great bass. Enjoy Si
  19. Bought a MB LM2 amp from Keith and everything was smooth and easy. Keith is particularly easy to deal with and the transaction went perfectly. Thanks very much Si
  20. It seems obvious to me that’s all 😐 Si
  21. I mean it literally says: ”Register for FREE now to attend BASS SPACE 2022” Fairly easy to decipher. My further understanding is that once you’ve registered, you can, at your own behest, choose to pay a fee to unlock further features such as VIP Webinars and the recordings of all the content. But the free content is the live classes and the like throughout the weekend. Also with regards to ‘spam’, just unsubscribe if that’s what you want to do, so easy. Si
  22. So still not an ABM Mini 500 that they’d sell a ton of! 🤨 Si
