The range here is so good I might just order a load and swallow the import charges!? http://www.pedalpart...gory_Code=ENCCC
Wonderful range, but what a convoluted way of ordering, three different items in the basket just to order one painted enclosure?! Horrible! Give me Mammoth Electronics website any day......but just crap postage costs to the UK Si
haven't ordered from here myself yet but these guys seem to do a few colours: http://www.bluebellaudio.com/
Yeah they're the standard Hammond colours: http://www.hammondmfg.com/dwg_SBVer.htm Si

The Earthquaker is great, but in this case, the Neunaber! Si

Octaves track better before dirt, but also consider that an octave before dirt means that a fuzz pedal, for example, will then compress out any lows/sub that the octave is providing you. I went for years with octave first, now changed to octave last, after dirt, on my main board. Experimentation is key, each board and it's application will be different! Si
Anyone know where to get ready painted enclosures here in the uk?
Hammond sell direct I believe and do a few solid colours. I think Rapid or Mouser have some colours perhaps, although would need to check. I'm currently struggling with this too, including screen-printing, very tough to find decent services in the UK, we do not have even a quarter of the choice of what the US does Si

The original Boss PN-2 is a favourite, but also check out the Zvex Sonor and the Idiotbox Mad Doctor stutter. I had the Mad Doctor for a couple of days (it was wrongly sent to me instead of another pedal from a shop), and whilst I had it I had a great time with it, great pedal. Si

It's a decent quote for a re-house, however try and confirm exactly what he's going to do. As mentioned above, if you're getting nicer jack sockets that aren't purely board mounted and a proper footswitch wired in (fairly in-depth for these soft-switch kinda pedals). Si

Justin Timberlake Bassist change - who's the guy?
Sibob replied to Faithless's topic in General Discussion
Not quite sure what there isn't to like about this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQ0__5muEjA His melody at 5:26 gets me every time. Si -
Weight is showing as 9.7lbs on kitchen scales, this actually surprised me as I've used it on long gigs and never had any issues (my other basses are low 9's and high 8's), so must balance nicely. To be fair, probably pretty standard for a Fender 5 I've also added a couple of photos of the bass in its OHSC, as well as appended the condition as after some close inspection I wouldn't consider it mint, but very good condition. A few very minor surface marks on the rear of the bass that I can't capture in a photo. Cheers Si

Hi all, Looking to move on my 2009 Fender Jazz USA 5 string standard (passive), very good condition, no dents or wear other than a few very very fine surface marks on the rear that I can't capture in a photo. Sunburst with Rosewood fingerboard and the, in my opinion, more desirable 4+1 headstock. Has original case, which is a bit more scuffed & gigged (pictures ASAP), but works perfectly & includes case candy. Weight is showing as 9.7lbs on kitchen scales, this actually surprised me as I've used it on long gigs and never had any issues (my other basses are low 9's and high 8's), so must balance nicely. Currently strung with a new sparkly set of Dunlop SuperBrights 45-125. Any further pics or questions, please do ask. Collection/meetup only. Cash is king, although happy to take a pedal or two (if they interest me) to help you shave no more than £100 off the price! SOLD Final reduction. At this price, bass will need to be collected from Herts/Bucks or possibly London Fenders gumf: http://www.fender.co...color-sunburst/ Cheers Si

Yeah looks really cool. It's not the same as the 66, which I believe is still orderable and on the horizon for a release, but the Dual is definitely another awesome idea in a box. Si

Also consider that you may just want to look at your EQ. P-Bass, tone all the way down, take a look at the old Boss PQ-3B which can adjust down to 25hz (technically lower than the Meatbox), boost that. Or the newer MXR Kerry King EQ, goes down to 31hz. Put some modulation on if you want some movement, but yeah, easy Si
