1. I mean, you can't hear the sub, I've heard that it's crazy low....but apart from that, basically a Micro Synth?! Si
2.
But what on Earth is this, people having gigs and rehearsals to go to, or indeed having a life?? Tsk, tsk... We'll try and organise a weekend meetup in London in the next few months, between now and the LBGS, for those who can't make either.
Whenever you say LBGS, I always read it as LGBT . Combined, what a show that would be haha Si
3.
Update of mine. Latest is the Boss PN-2. Space is pretty well used up, but I still have one power output underneath... hmmm...
What you talking about?.....loads of space up top above the Boss/Prunes Si
4.
I've emailed about release dates and price, like a Fizz'd fuzz for bass, or is that an over simplification?
A fizz'd fuzz? You won't get a fuzz tone out of it unless you dime the Bass control, when you do that, it saturates to the point of fuzz, other than that it's a low-mid overdrive-distortion pedal The Grand Tarkin will give you full on fuzz which could be scaled back I imagine Si
5. I'd be interested to know how GB was purchased by Fender, was it a private sale? Or was it a floated company and an aggressive takeover? The former, to me, smacks more of GB being the fulfillers of their own destiny, the directors/owners selling it down the river for financial gain (they're not stupid with regards to larger companies aquisition road-maps). If it's the latter, then if the brand was making money, would Fender not have financially benifited more (if the sale is to it's reduce their debts) by simply selling the GB brand outright? Si
6. Lots of people get on really well with the Zoom B3, but again, its whether you are ok with digital models over analogue equivalents. Some people don't care, some people just want a small unit with everything in, there is no right/wrong. Si
7. Apologies, I said earlier that there wasn't an FX talk, there is, looking forward to it! Si
8. Haha, I wouldn't say I'm a snob (much), whatever works for the individual However I will say that I've never heard a decent overdrive/distortion/fuzz from a stock Multi-FX. I've got a Boss ME-50B, and it does everything extremely well apart from drive lol. However given the choice, yes, I would use nice single pedals over cheap digital multi's That said, I tried an old Zoom 708 the other month for the first time in years, hilarious, it was so horrible that it was cool! Si
9. What 'proper' pedals have you been trying that don't stand up to a Zoom 505? lol Don't get me wrong, everything is completely subjective......but still Si
10. Really good multi-FX, easy to use, programmable but analogue sensibilities. Also a good practice tool as it has an aux in connection. Good luck Si
11. Same as Si above, no FX talk this year, but always willing to bring along anything people want to try and answer any FX/Pedal related questions Updated list here: http://simonpoulton.tumblr.com/post/42859467332/effects-pedal-collection Si
12. Wow, yes, really looking like it'll be well attended. It's looking like this is the first year I won't have to shoot off to a gig, so looking forward to chilling out a bit Si
13. Haha, not for me I'm afraid. Money going into building pedals at the moment. But whoever buys this, lets get it added to the Database Si
14. Black Label Taiwan too, transition, wouldn't surprise me if its a Japanese model PCB Si
15. I wouldn't necessarily class a compressor/limiter as an essential, IMO. My 'essentials' board is tuner, octave, overdrive/distortion & envelope filter. But then everyone is different in their 'must-haves' Si
16. Could you PM me details of the '74 neck please? Alternatively, if someone fancied the '74 neck on this, I might be interested in the '78 neck Si
17. How hot are you running the drive? Doesn't sound right Si
18. Yes, with all due respect, a Line6 POD is not going to give you that tone when there are so many elements to it in reality. A poor approximation maybe Si

Mooer Thunderball

Based on all other Mooers I've tried, this will be appealing on paper, but underwhelming in it's application. Si

21. I really like the idea of it, but I use a lot of Octave effects, and I found that it did shave some low-end and character from my OC-2 etc. Si

I'd say don't get anything from Maplins, I was shocked at their prices, 30p for a resistor?! :-O Definitely get a helping/third hand! Si
23. Woah, thought I got my Sansamp BDDI for a steal at £75, but that's crazy. Nice one for passing on the price Si

Buffer for a guitarist friend, based off the Klon buffer, works a treat!: Si
