1. You're using active basses so you'll struggle a little with Fuzz. I have a lot of suggestions for awesome Fuzz for passive basses, but active, I'd either have a chat with Tom at COG about a Grand Tarkin with with an Impedance control, or check out the Zvex Mastatron. Si
2. I think he's a great player, always have, very laid back and tasteful! I know he plays a lot on his album, although thought he mostly played guitar live, can see his white Tele sitting at the back. Cheers for posting! Si
3. Best thing you can do is get a refund and buy a Muff derivative from one of the very many builders who offer superior pedals (Fuzzrocious, COG, Gojira, Wren & Cuff, anyone but EHX basically lol). Si

Necks (parts)

Yup, all (good) Fender neck copies should fit on (good) fender body copies. When I say good, I mean if they are licenced, the hole measurements should all match up! Neck pockets can vary in tightness, standard. Try Allparts, WD Music and Warmoth for the best quality wood necks, Status and Modulus if you fancy Graphite. Lots of custom builders will just make you a neck too, Shuker made me a lovely Maple neck with graphite support rods, super stable Si
5. Yup, Rat Tail with LED clipping Or just have the Compressor pushing a bit harder?! Si
6. I'll open up mine when I get home from Ireland. There's 5 Octavers and 2 Octaves to check lol Si

Which Flanger?

My vote goes to the Boss BF-2B (the brown one) Si
8. Gaz is your Dispatch Master grey & white? Custom colour? Si
9. Good choice, I've almost pulled the trigger on a DM a few times. Si
10. From what I understand (and I might have gotten mixed up), the Stache is based on the GGG Tuned Muff, whilst the TFR is obviously based on the Civil War Green Muff. Now largely the differences are just in a few components, a resistor value here, a capacitor value there. But they are both Muff based fuzzes, they will react wildyl different with what you feed them. I've got a GGG Green Muff to finish, I'll try and compare that with my Stache and Fuzz Face build asap. If you go Stache, and want beef, have Ry put Asymmetric LEDs as one of the diode options, Big!! Cheers Si
11. LOVE that GS! And those gold boxes are ace! Si

DIY Effects

Finished a 'Jimi' spec Fuzz Face: BC109C transistors Negative ground. Sounds great, although kinda wished I'd placed the Bias on a knob.....oh well, next one Enclosure finishing next. Si
13. Thanks for the updated info guys! Wriggers, when did you book your flight, obviously it's not massively helpful that they don't announce the camps dates until early Jan Cheers Si
14. Love the black sparkle enclosures! Love my Rat Tail too, real gnarly dirt! Let me know how you get on with the Dark Driving, interested in one maybe, although would go smaller box Si
15. Yeah not a clue I'm afraid. I can see that he's got a couple of bits, but the only visible is his Boss TU-2 Si
16. They should also post a slip through your door stating there are charges to pay, so you don't have to sit in front of the tracker all day (like we all do) Si
17. It will be Parcel Force who send through the Customs/VAT charges Si
18. Fulltone OCD? Could be any number of boutique/custom brands!! Any other markings of note? Si
19.
Blimey, what service does he use? Bought quite a lot from US this year and nothing has taken longer than a week to arrive, using Priority. Even quicker with Express!
Then you're very lucky, never had anything turn up that quick from the states. Yup Joes Pedals has just had a big order: http://www.joespedals.com/acatalog/Fuzzrocious_Pedals.html Si
20. From Ryan it depends what you're after, Immediate sales and quicker options like stock pedal options into etched or kid paint enclosures can ship instantly or within a week or so. More custom orders and paint jobs can take upto a couple of months (although my experience is less than that). Shipping is then out of their hands, it depends how long Customs holds onto the parcel, I've tended to receive my customs payment notifications after around 2 weeks of it being posted, if it's paid before 2pm (I think), it's next day delivery from parcel farce (sic) Si
21. Only 14 OC-2's???........I have 7 (but I can't remember what I've already added to the list, so I won't any further) Si
22. Yeah, it really doesn't matter where you run your Tuner unless you're using a lot of modulation and pitch effects (you wouldn't want your tuner after Vibrato and Whammy for example and trying to tune whilst they're both on ) With such a small board, you're most likely turning effects off before you tune, so no effect where in the chain the tuner is. Si
23. I had the same problem descibed in the OP after about a years heavy use. Alex kindly replaced the handle around 8 months ago, and this one is still going strong. Whether it's a slightly better batch of handle, or I'm carrying it differently I don't know. But yes, happy here either way, it's a moving part essentially, going to wear out if used a lot, but cheap to replace. Cheers Si
