1.
Carry on using their stuff? If Mark Bass said no and you jumped to another company,it shows that you don't care about what you use and will only go where the deals are.Use the gear you like-if you get a deal, great.
This!!! I've got a couple of 'deals' (I prefer to call them good relationships) and its because I've been a customer for a good few years, an advocate of the company, and I love the gear. Jumping between companies just for free/cheap gear doesn't breed loyalty or a tone you'll be happy with. Si
2. Spotted: Boss RC-20 Looper Boss TR-2 Trem Line-6 DL-6 with expression Perhaps a Boss BD-2 Blues Driver (Or a compressor but think its the former) There's a brown Boss in front of that which could be an OC-2 Whammy of some description Thats all I got.....oh and a TU-2 Si
3. I've got the Vibrato and its great.....sonically anyway, very close (although not all the way) to my Boss VB-2. Trouble is, they're built like a wet-cake, horrible plastic housing, rubbish switch that gives me no confidence at a gig. So as a way of testing an effect, they're cool, but gigging? no, I'd rather run a metal housed/decent switch pedal. Si
4. Hi guys, Thanks for the input. It's worth mentioning that the amp will essentially be flightcased, but you're right, some gel sachets can't hurt! Cheers Si
5. Hi all, If I absolutely had to leave a solid-state amp in a car overnight.......consistently.......are there any covers/wraps etc etc that would help negate the low temperature?. I'm not sure what I'm after, or if I'm barking up a wrong tree, but would something like an insulation blanket help keep cold out, or do they just keep heat in?! hmmmm Si
6. The Boss CS-1 was apparently really squishy! Si
7. How odd. I've just tried the code again on a couple of the pedals and its not working on two of them, but IS working on the Digital Delay (Reecho) Si
8. Having a little clearout, all really nice pedals, but simply aren't getting used. [s]Guyatone BB-2 Bottom Boost - SOLD[/s] Boss HF-2 Hi-Band Flanger (early Taiwan green label) - £60 - Boxed [s]Bogdan Polish Love OD/Fuzz - SOLD[/s] Behringer Ultra Vibrato - £20 [s]Mooer Hustle Drive - SOLD[/s] Pictures to follow this evening. Postage is £3 per pedal Try me for trades (OC-2s always welcome), but cash is king Cheers Si
9. I'd like to try the Digital Delay and the Octave.....hmmm SI
10. There is that custom design/paint job Mustang that was done for a TV show in the Fender Bass Book. It could be that someone wanted a multi-coloured burst, and paid for a custom job. I guess to do a multi-burst, you'd simply spray each colour over the whole body?! Si
11. The discount code still works it seems Si
12. Wow.......... .......that's a crap headstock! Si
13. PM'd Si
14. My very good friend Magda was the female backing vocalist Si
15. Looking for any trades at all? Si
16. The Hustle Drive has a great tone, but too much low-end loss for me. I could perhaps use it in my split channel setup to resolve the low-end issue, but no real use for overdrive there. Nice pedal, but more for guitar than bass I may see about modding it, but tbh, I have stock pedals that do the sound already. Si
17. I didn't even look at the tracking so can't tell you what happened with mine Si
18. Yeah the envelope was marked Singapore Post Si
19. Look what arrived today No customs, and a cool 10 days since ordering! Tests tomorrow Si
20.
I felt compelled to make a pedal board that would match my new amp
Love this setup! So three levels of drive then? Phat Phuk -> Multidrive -> TS clone? Si
21.
That's key. Pedals are made to operate at 100mV or so, effects loops are at line level that runs around 1v, so most pedals won't work in a loop. If yours do you're in luck.
Which may be the issue you're having with the comp. Definitly a case of 'trust your ears' Si
22. Cor, dont want much do you My SFX FX loop mixer has two volume controls for each loop, plus a bypass....plus it powers other pedals like the TU-2/LS-2....but it's not a micro....or cheap lol Si
23. Super fast postage and very helpful indeed, cheers buddy, appreciate it Si

DIY Effects

I recently purchashed a Dwarfcraft 'The Great Destroyer' kit (http://www.dwarfcraft.com/pedals). It's a weird glitchy fuzz basically. Enclosure all comes drilled etc, so had a good friend paint it with something of her choice, she's the artist not me. I do like the juxtaposition between the name of the pedal and the image : Cheers Si
25. Get yourself some quality Fuzzrocious people Si
