1. The OC-2 came into being in '82 and looks like it changed from Octaver to Octave in early '84 Moved to Taiwan in '89 I love the BossArea.com website I managed to get an Octaver with box and original stickers for under a ton...noice Si
2. Great Price on the OC-2...I'd have it...but I have 3...two of which are Japanese, one of which is the Octaver :-P lol I should step away now Good luck Si
3. I'd like to hear Shep demo the pitch box....just because that Talkbass demo is utter balls! :-P Si
4. Bump with Trade options Si
5. A 'rare no-gig-Friday' bump Si
6. I'm also interested in the PitchBox modded with a momentary switch. Do you think this is possible? It'd be nice to have an adjustable rise/fall on it....but not too necessary...beggars can't be choosers and all that Si
7. I took off my Multi-unit (ME-50b) because it was messing with my chain in the context of two channels. My gut says that the PH-2 will stay and the Flange will make way for (hopefully) my Meatbox clone Si
8. To be fair, I think it's just that....in the mix...it has a similar vibe to the Flange. Out of the two I prefer the PH-2. I"m still figuring out what sits best where in the songs, so still on a learning curve with settings and what-not Si
9. Velcro'd and rehearsed with: Points to note: - Want to replace the Akai, it's not blowing me away enough to warrant it's size/weight, can downsize it. Boss? TC? - Polish Love is noisy and not sounding how I want. Replace with a gated distortion perhaps. - Pedals I'm unsure about: PH-2 Phaser, BF-2B Flanger....but will persevere for a bit Si
10. Because some have velcro on, and I was still arranging/cabling/powering....didn't want them to stick down just yet Si
11. It's a Namakubi tattoo Si
12. I think you'll find that we all win......when I get a new bass.....because......then..... No I dunno where I'm going with that! Si
13. So here is Pedal-Board 2, Ver. 1 Un-velcroed and messy....but working a treat. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Chain: Bass -> LS-2 In Loops A Send -> OC-2 -> CE-2B -> BF-2B Flanger -> GEB-7 -> Behringer Vibrato -> Return Loop B Send - TU-2 Tuner -> CS-2 Compression -> CoPilot Orbit -> Polish Love -> PH-2 Phaser -> PN-2 Trem/Pan -> GE-7B -> Source Audio BEF -> Return LS-2 Out -> Akai Headrush -> Ernie Ball Volume -> LM-2 Limiter Amp Phew LS-2 will move for a SFX Loop Logic soon Si
14. Pretty sure it will be VVT, I haven't specified, but reckon that's how the body is now and Howard is on the same page Si
15. If I'm honest I'm not entirely sure, I believe mostly from licensed parts. Certainly the body for mine has been around a while Si
16. Ah there's not too much more to know - Sunburst Precision with a jazz pickup in 60's position - Lined fretless ebony fingerboard - all other details will place it vaguely as an early 70's reissue I think As I said, not fancy, but quality....and with Doc building it, gonna be lush Si
17. Sam wins a nice fresh apple Si
18. Nope, certainly not that long.....I don't think lol Nor is it that fancy...or expensive...but will still be quality Si
19. Shuker - I"m not gonna be waiting 12 months Nash/bravewood - Keeping it closer to home....figuratively Si
20. It will look like a Fender.... Si
21. Sadowsky - Not that far from a Fender Body Only - Yes I believe so, fender don't make the fretless neck I want Si
22. Dammit.....am I that transparent?! :-P Not properly Fender though... :-D Si
23. Ooops.....yes it's a Bass lol, and also realised I gave away fretless in the OP....so that wasn't guessed Si
24. Not from 70's Fretless These are the correct guesses so far :-D Si
