1. I've never seen a Bona gig that has been anything other than mind-blowing. Find it incredibly strange that other bass players should be saying he should lay the bass down when he is such an inspiration, at the same time as doing the vocal/guitar thing....very odd. Usually at gigs he's very refined with his playing, he steps out with solos and fills etc, but you can always see that he's just having fun and a lot of it is pretty tongue in cheek, he's no serious jazzer! Si
2. Wow, someone using an OC-3, don't see many of those lol.....seems like the OC-2 is the standard Si
3. Ah you do the Rock Choir, very good Yeah Tom sang for my function band for a couple of years, still does the odd one here and there, but don't get to see him as often as I should...one of the good guys Cya Saturday Si
4.
Will sort that for you Si. BTW Tom G says Hi.
Hi Dave, I've sorted patch cables now thank-you, but I still need a pedal power cable Haha, how do you know Tom? Si
5. Got some George L cabling (around 150cm) and 10 right angle solderless connectors on ebay for £37 inc postage. Think thats ok!? lol At least that'll free up some spacial options on my board I hope Si
6.
Aye it's annoying - I could stand around chatting about music and or bass all day especially with so many likeminded people but life and music sometimes have to come first, I've got 4 quite important gigs coming up and reheasing on Saturday is the one chance we have before the first gig on Monday night - so doing, rather than talking about bass is the order of the day I'm afraid - see you next year I hope Mike
Ah thats a shame man, was looking forward to your class Will definitely have come in and catch a gig/get a coffee with you soon Si
7. Just really expensive lol, any similar alternatives? Si
8. OBBM - If you have another standard power cable for a pedal board, standard female to female, (power block to pedal) say 8 inches, right angle if possible? I'm also wanting to redo my patch cables on my pedal board, but i'd preferably want little connectors similar to George L style ones?! Guessing you don't have anything like that?! Cheers Si
9. Mines kinda changing too....well getting better organised really, with at least one addition...MAYBE two if I can fit it huh shep My problem at the moment is just arrangement, I'm using big chunky patch cables, what are you using Shep? the connectors seem pretty small, still decent quality cabling I assume? Cheers Si
10. Sounds great, but the chime goes 13 times?! lol....meant to? haha Si
11.
Anything over 25 years old is considered vintage.
This Si
12. Please state a price asap or the listing will be removed. Thanks Si
13. Not yet Got my Slow Gear (yeah I got an old Boss one) to go on first, then I'll see what space I can muster. Think I'll need a new power supply first, only got 5 outputs from my Juicy Lucy Si
14.
Yes - but it wouldn't work, and if it did you'd of cut the tap tempo off! Man up and buy a Slicer or Murf!
But there's no ROOOOMMMMM Hmmmm, are you using a Murf instead of your Slicer now then? Si
15.
Ah... It seems there are 2 versions! I'd never seen the 2 footswitch version before. That version also has an extra knob on it. The version I've seen lots of demos of does not have the tap. Still not as useful as something that has clearly defined presets though...
I feel you might be right Hmmm.... could I cut one in half? Si

Hi Whereabouts are you? You mentioned two problems, but only mentioned the missing screw. Also what is the weight? Cheers Si
20. Yeah I had a great time when I visited last week , I think I'll probably pop over next saturday too. Some very cool basses, the kind that lots of people often just see in pictures, so nice to see them within touching distance. My fave out of all of them was a Zon Sonus fretless 4, extremely playable and sounded like a fretless should! The Foderas look great, but I have to say (and this is simply personal preference), I was slightly underwhelmed by the AC's Each to their own huh Cheers Barrie, and I hope I'll catch Phil next time too Si
21. Yup, am watching this....lush isn't it Don't think I'd buy blind, but don't think he'll answer my question about whether he's ever in london with it Si
22. Are there any pedals that do similar things to a Slicer? I'm not really interested in presets, just tap and that real quick (adjustable) delay result The reason I ask is because the Slicer is bloody huge lol Cheers Si
23. Wow, beautiful bass I have some cash saved up, but nowhere near enough I'm afraid lol I agree though, vintage stuff, take a photo of everythingggggg Good luck, its a stunner Si
24. Hi all, Billy has asked me to close this as he feels everything has been said, and the original issue has been sorted. Thanks to everyone for sharing their thoughts and for Alex for coming forward to comment. Long may Bass Shops exist to hear their customers feedback Cheers Si
25. Ah my Fender's aren't going anywhere The Zon sounded exactly like a fretless should but I've no use for one really. Singlecuts.....they're my guilty pleasure, LOVE them lol Si
