  1. But you honestly see a difference between how you’ve communicated your ‘extreme boredom’ and when others standing up for what they believe? It reads like you put yourself above them in some hierarchy because they’re ‘offended’ (your words, not theirs) about sexism in this case, but when it comes to you literally shouting about it on a forum, that’s ok, you’re just extremely bored?! Colour me fascinated. Si
  2. All about these two for me: Although I would have put a dark fingerboard on the gold one! Si
  3. A reverse headstock? A left-handed neck essentially? If so that limits your options a fair bit, further than just buying some import from ebay. Probably your best bet is just a left-handed Fender placement like this: https://richtonemusic.co.uk/fender-player-series-precision-bass-lh-neck-22-medium-jumbo-frets-9-5-maple/?gclid=CjwKCAiA4KaRBhBdEiwAZi1zztKliyXQvL0KSy9aSCLsUDq9jowkqU7lU2K4e8Z7-b5ECeIC14SZFRoC9M0QAvD_BwE Cheers Si
  4. Letting us know the preferred specs would greatly aid in people giving advice Si
  5. See if you can find a Modulus Jazz bsss, or a graphite neck for your Jazz. Get the same brand of pickup in there too (Bartolini?). Optics of a Jazz those that care, a spec closer to your Modulus for you! Si
  6. What's the 1590a top middle? Si
  7. Who’s going to let Jaco know? Si
  8. Those BB P34/35’s do sound excellent, heard a few clips of them recently. Shame about the weird blue, but hey 😆 Si
  9. Very cool, great story! Well done Brian! Si
  10. Haha, sorry, it's too good a drive pedal in a small box to not have on the back-burner Si
  11. No, it’s a wonderful pedal (I won’t sell it), but the BB has better EQ and can be run as a clean boost too. Clean with a big of booster treble is a nice extra bit of clank to be able to kick in and out. The Cog Fuzz is giving me all the proper dirt on that board. Si
  12. A few changes since last time! Si
  13. Depends on the gig, but generally speaking: Two basses One amp One or two cabs Pedalboard and cables etc Sometimes just one bass and my HX Stomp or a tuner. Si
  14. I always read in 'that' french accent haha. Si
  15. Just bought Adam's Xotic BB Bass Pre, great Basschatter to deal with, easy comms, quick postage, cheers! Si
  16. Depends on what keyboard it is, if it has external power (ie isn't powered over USB), if it has DIN connections (although you can get DIN to USB adapters). But largely your thinking is correct. Si
  17. I think that's just the nature of Fender's, moreso the 70's stuff. All the parts were just pulled from parts-bins when needed, so the dates are all over the place. The usual place to start is that ones bass is the age of the youngest part, ie in your case the bass would have left the factory in '75 as that is when the neck is dated.....unless it's a non-original neck. Just means the other parts were hanging around at the factory for a bit. Si
  18. That’s light for one of these, someone should jump on this!! Si
  19. For short period I had a Sire V3 2nd Gen 5er that I ripped the preamp out of and just ran fully passive. Sounded fantastic. Personally I think the pickups in those basses are underrated, or rather, overshadowed by the preamp. Si
  20. Horray, BB Bass Pre on the way :D

  21. To be fair, are these sellers saying they are newly built? Or simply referring to the fact that they’ve not been owned before? Essentially ‘new old stock’. Si
  22. Best filter on the market! It’s madness to me that anyone sells them. Si
  23. They'll come back around again, and will be well worth the wait, but they're just experiencing the same issues as all the other manufacturers. Si
  24. La Bella flats on a Precision is just the BEST Si
  25. If their order book is such that they can up their prices while not up'ing their work-load, obviously they're going to do it. Doesn't put them over and above any other custom builders really. Welcome to capitalism?! Si
