1. Dammit I thought I had some unique moves going on lol. Someone has to move on that side of the stage, the guitarist doesn't ha! Si
2. Haha, that'd be me then I suppose some people are not used to seeing the bass player move, it's called having passion for what you're playing Si
3. For no reason really, just for you amusement Si p.s. couple of 'F's & blinds' in there, apologies
4. I think even just ignoring the obvious flaw in the technique (by most peoples standard), I'm assuming by ommiting the use of your middle finger, it's floating (ie not flat on the fingerboard), and so you're going to start having tendon issues after time!. Using all fingers and therefore spreading the tension of fretting across the whole hand will stop this! Si
5. The Hipshot ultralite tuners come in two different sizes, the standard peg-hole size, and the smaller size. If you're buying the standard size, they'll fit into any generic peg-hole size on a neck. If you were cutting the holes yourself from a blank headstock, then you could go for the smaller ones! Si p.s. I used the standard sized Ultralites on my Jazz project and they're fantastic
6. Hmmm, possibly! I'd be saying £45 + p&p (about £6 but is pending me checking) Like I said, the pedal is 'AS NEW', never gigged/stomped on, I think i've only actually plugged it in once lol. Still in the plastic bag in the box with all literature! Trades also still open obviously Thanks Si
7. So although I'm definitly sticking with my original suggestion of the P-style setup, Here's a couple more ideas: Peaveys slanted t-style plate. Conklins Rocco Prestia signature, bit more radical than yours, but still rocks the Precision scratchplate.....kinda Si
8. Loving that Steve Swallow Quintet vid, some quirky stuff in there!! Try Gabriel Nelson of 'Cake', great bassist, mostly a pick player and comes up with some real nice bubbly lines! Si
9. I prefer the standard pickguard design over the tele style, in this case anyway! You're going for a more sweeping organic body, and the original precision pickguard compliments it I think, the tele plate is a bit to straight and stark compared to the modified body! Si
10. Thats the one! Now just gotta make it flow! Thanks a lot! Si
11. I like Berlin! Regardless of whether I agree with what he has to say, he provokes discussion and has people thinking about what they're doing, either because they 'get' him or because they want to prove him wrong! Si
12.
Oooh! Oooh! It's got the transition logo! Wub Wub Wub
Non original I should think seeing as the headstock has been refinished. Are all original 64's worth £10,000? Si
13. If anyone has got Richard Bona's live album 'Bona Makes You Sweat', I'd like to ask for some help with a bass lick in track 7- Djombe/I Wish/Trains The lick is at 5:03 Thanks in advance! Si
14. Haha, Unfortunately I have nothing else to sell to make up the other HALF of the money lol! In any case.... it would be fun to have a couple of old Fenders...wouldn't it? Si
15. If i had the cash, i wouldn't even have to think about it Good luck Si

TOMBBOY

There's a few feedback threads for tombboy, I've chosen this one because it has the biggest boobies! (?) Anyway, he bought a MOTU interface from me, very fast payment, patient and just generally a good 'ol boy! Cheers mate Si
17. WoT will also be interested in this!! Si
18. The best I can make out of the main riff (at a very quick listen) is something like: G---------------------------------------------- D--------------------------------------4-6---- A--------------0-4-6-------------4-6--------- Eb-0-0--4-5----------0--0-0-0--------------- Probably wrong, but the vid is dodge sound quality. There's a guy on youtube doing a video of it, but again, poir sound quality means you can't quite hear whats going on......a testament to 'slap' technique in general perhaps? Only joking! Si
19. I'm also starting to get GAS for Sadowsky that I can't act on financially lol! This is a particularly nice one! Is there much difference between this 90's one and the one's they're putting out now, apart from the VTC. I'm assuming not much!? Si
20. The general rule of thumb is that a refinish halves the value of a 'vintage' bass/guitar Si
21. LOADS of updates some FSOF shows! & July. - Dec. 'Re:Cover' shows Si
22. huh!? Won't it just fret and buzz that note once you start getting higher up the fret board? seeing as the action has to be lower on a fretless. Go listen to Baghiti Khumalo on Graceland, brother don't need no muvfuggin fret to slap on a fretless! innit Si
