We're a slightly rockier modern covers band and we get plenty of weddings. People who are getting married now are (mostly) the younger generation, IMO they don't want WetWetWet and Robson & Jerome. Man, If my covers band travelled that far for a gig, not only would be be charging double what we normally do for local (london) shows, we'd be asking for a deposit of at least half! Certainly if we had to stay over we'd charge more then double. We've done Weddings in Manchester though and missioned it back to Bucks. Sometimes it is worth dealing in E-Mails so that you have that as written proof as well!. Hope the gig was a good one at least, that's your consolation Si

I have a big 'ol silver flight case box (not a rack) that I carry my Head about in, whenever I do a gig with a one cab setup, either the 4x8 or the 1x15, I always put the cab on top of the Box, Having your sound at waist height is what its all about. Si

Yup the EQ stays flat (but on) on mine with my jazz bass, bridge pickup and tone up full and dial in the neck pickup as required, 'Grind' on about 10 o'clock. Thats all in gig situations, it doesn't get used at home, have a practice amp for that. In fact it stays same settings for my active bass's, bar the 'pad' button, and use the basses to EQ out any flaws. Si
