1. Hi Len, thanks for that but I think it may be a bit big for the spare bedroom. I'm thinking more in the region of 2x6" active speakers
2. I guess this means secondhand prices will become even more ridiculous if that's possible. 5 years ago when we all had jobs and money, you could buy a secondhand USA Jazz or Precision on here for £5-600. Now that we're all skint, you see people asking £8xx and even £9xx for them. Sheesh.
3. I wish I understood what you were all talking about Glad things worked out JimBobTTD
4. I want to buy a small mixer and powered monitors for noodling/learning songs in my den. I want to put my Tascam bass trainer, a drum machine and my pc through it, budget is about £300. I'm clueless, please help.

6. There's a good inch top and bottom, little bit less on the sides
7. Whoops bought the wrong gig bag, it's a Ritter Classic RCG-700-9-EWB-BST made for Warlock/BC Rich type basses. Unused, new and yours for £20 plus postage.
8. Bought Nick's Genz NeoX 212 last week, sadly didn't get to meet him but it was a pleasure to meet his lovely Missus, his pooch and his Mum in Law who looked after me so much I didn't want to leave (especially after I had a sneaky twang on his Pino ). Nick's a real gentleman and a pleasure to do businesss with, can't recommend him enough.
9. Sounds like a plan mcnach
10. Thanks for all the kind comments, it is a stunning bass in every respect and sounds as good as it looks. When you have 3 humbuckers on tap, the word immense does spring to mind. I'm going to hang on to it and buy a Jazz
11. You're all talking sense Looks like I'm gonna have to make room under my bed for a bass case.
12.
I don't think I'd sell that.. but I am not sure what you are after apart from GAS. I have GAs for 2 sets of cabs but I don't need any of them... so I am in no hurry to make a choice which may well not work out anyway... Now, if you HAD to sell as the bass had no use at all... then that is different, but apart from the 'one-in, one-out' rule..which is pretty stupid in itself I don't see why you need to go thru all this..
I don't NEED to sell it to buy the Jazz but everytime I've had 3 basses, one never leaves it's case so it's self imposed. It doesn't make any sense at all selling this because it's a much much better bass and even does a great impression of a Jazz but as I said GAS is GAS innit.
13.
Too many knobs and switches - sell it and buy the Jazz. :-)
You forgot the flux capacitor You're right, since I got the P I'm on a get back to basics thing..
14. A few weeks ago I treated myself to a new US Precision, it's a lovely bass and since I put some Labella flats on it, I can't put it down. When I bought the P, there was a 2012 US Jazz there too and I couldn't make my mind up between that and the P but decided to follow my original plan. Since then, I've been really hankering after a 2012 Jazz with CS pups, trouble is, two bass rules apply which means I'd have to sell this; It's a Clover Avenger Custom - easily one of the best basses I've owned but GAS is GAS. I'd probably lose a wad - they're almost twice the price of a new Jazz. What would you do?
15. I just bought a new 2012 Am Std P with the CS pups. At first I have to admit I was a bit disappointed with the tone. Then I put the Labella Flats on it and ooh matron..... yes, yes, yes ...best P I've had yet and I've had 6.
16. 1978 Fender Pro Reverb. Excellent condition for year although does have the expected battle scars. On casters, fairly heavy so will have to be collection only from Wokingham Berkshire. New Valves and valve seats and retainers about 4 years ago, hardly played since. Fantastic Fender tones and vintage reverb and vibrato. More Photo’s on request [s]£650[/s] £575 ono Sorry no trades. [
17. Be interested to hear what you think of the Streamliner. Enjoy
