Just picked up a Copilot Orbit off gnasher1993 to put on my newly created bass pedalboard (inspired by Shep's/pantherairsoft's monstrous pedalboard) In short, if you love tight bass synth/fuzz sounds this thing is a world of fun and tones in its own right. It's got a fuzz side, and a ring mod side, with a mix to blend the two. Also has a switch to alter the state of the VCO feeding the ring mod and an exp jack to control the 'exp' knob which seems to control the sweep of the ring mod (will check this out at some point but not yet looked at it). I spent a few hours fiddling with it last night and it's really inspiring, so much so I might attempt to record a few samples. The variable gated-ness of the thing is so much fun for tight staccato synth bass lines. I think that running an octave into it (e.g. OC2, hopefully getting one this week) would really open up the pedal's possibilities. Contemplating a filter after that (Proton or Proteus maybe) but we'll see.
It sounds great with an octave before it! I've got a couple of pedals for sale: Vintage Ibanez AD-9 ('83) - £85 This is a brilliant delay in full working condition, there's a few chips in the paint but that doesn't affect functionality. It's had a new 9v jack installed by Owen Electronics. No velcro on this one. I don't have the original box but it will be packed well. Moog MF-102 Ring Modulator - £105 SOLD Prices include UK postage, I'll ship elsewhere if you cover additional costs. Payment by paypal or bank transfer, offers welcome! PM me if you have any questions. Cheers, AJ

Hi Shep, Yes it does! I've just double checked and you can send a MIDI clock signal whilst hearing the metronome. I just tested it by sending a MIDI clock to Ableton. In the GLOBAL > METRONOME menu, you can set the metronome to be always on during playback. All you have to do is to turn down the 2 synth tracks to isolate the metronome and there you have it, a click track and a MIDI clock generator! Just hit play and tap in the tempo you want -
Looks amazing, Shep. I'd love to play through that!
Hey guys - I think I've finally found the thread I've been looking for! I love all the analogue stuff but I'm kind of loathed to start shelling out for yards of pedals - so I'm going the other route and doing stuff via Ableton and my laptop - with some pedals as well - any thoughts on the quality virtual versus analogue effects - latency issues aside... your thoughts would be very welcome indeed. Thanks Mike
Ableton is perfect for creating dubstep bass! Check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcMtxpUAKcQ

SOLD Coldcraft custom 5 band parametric EQ/Feedback Looper
How low does the low and mid sweep knobs go?Do you know between what frequencies in the bass, low and mid?(I'm more interrested in altering the lower half of the sound.) Is it boost/cut in 5 areas but 3 of them you can choose the frequency?Or am i way off? By the way I live in Sweden, would you ship it here?
Hi there! The frequency's are as follows: Bass 30-120Hz Low Mids 100-450Hz Mids 220-990Hz Upper Mids 700Hz-3.2kHz Treble 2.2-10kHz It's possible to get some overlap so it's very tweakable! It is boost and cut in all 5 frequencies. The frequency is also variable in all 5 frequencies but only the 3 mid controls have external knobs. The bass and treble have internal trimpots to adjust the frequency I'd be happy to ship to Sweden, it'll cost £5 extra for postage, though (so £100 total). Let me know if you have any more questions! -

Hi guys, I've got a few things I'm looking to sell. First up is a Korg Electribe EA-1 analogue synthesizer/groove box. It's in like new condition, boxed with manual and power supply. This is a great box with loads of cool grooves and synth tones but it's surplus to requirements. You can read about it here: http://www.korg.co.uk/products/dance_dj/ea1/dj_ea1.asp There's a couple on eBay around the £140 - £150 mark so I'll be happy to accept £100 including UK postage, I think that's reasonable . [s]Secondly is an Edirol UA-5 USB audio interface.[/s] SOLD [s]Finally is a Behringer DI20.[/s] SOLD Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Cheers, AJ

I've got a broken Boss SYB-5 that I'm looking to get rid of. I've no idea what's wrong with it, but I sent it to Max at [sfx] a while ago and he thinks it's a problem with one of the chips. The signal passes through when bypassed but the signal disappears completely when you turn the pedal on even though it powers up just fine. I'M SELLING THIS FOR PARTS/REPAIR! It must be worth something to someone, even if it's just as an enclosure for a DIY project, so let's say £15 posted? It's in mint condition with the original box, it just doesn't work . PM me if you have any questions. Cheers, AJ

SOLD [s]Hi guys,[/s] [s]I'm looking to sell my Custom parametric EQ (with added feedback loop) from Coldcraft Custom effects. I had this made for me just over a year ago but it's now surplus to requirements. So, what does it do and what are all those knobs?! Basically, It's a 5 band EQ in stompbox form with an added bypass/feedback loop. A few notes: *It has 2 parallel instruments so you can plug in 2 instruments or combine 2 signals. I used one for my bass guitar and one for my upright bass. *EQ Knobs are Center Detent - Boost is CW - Cut is CCW *Feedback Enable Toggle bypass the Feedback Control for pure bypass loop. Up is OFF, Down is ON. When there's nothing in the loop, it acts as a silent mute switch *Input gain to avoid clipping and excess noise from pickups. Output gain to match Unity Gain with the Bypassed Signal. *Turning the Frequency Center trimmers CW will raise the frequency of the Bass and Treble Bands. *Turning the Q Trimmers CW lowers the Q of the associated band. Turn CCW for more notched, wah-like sounds. *Keep in mind, Boost/Cut increased with higher Q, but the band narrows. Let me know if you have any more questions about the operation, I'll do my best to answer. PM me with your email address if you want a .pdf of the manual. This is pedal is in mint condition aside from some velcro on the bottom. I paid £150 for this last year so I'm looking for £95 posted within the UK. I'm willing to ship overseas if you cover the cost of postage. Payment by Paypal or bank transfer, please . Cheers, AJ[/s]

Are you using an active bass? I had an OC-2 for a while but had a problem with volume drop. It was fine with my passive basses but quite noticeable with my active.
