1. Just seen this: Looks pretty awesome to me., though it me might be of interest to some of you folks. Sorry if it's already been posted .
2.
How's the Chicklet treating you for a big overblown reverb sound, assuming you also use it for bass? I'm quite tempted by one.
If you like spring reverb sounds, it's great. If you want versatility, look elsewhere. I really like it though, it does what I want and it can get pretty cavernous! Not the most natural sounding reverb but good nonetheless.
3. This would be pretty awesome for pushing my tonebender Hmmm... don't suppose you'd be interested in a Fuzzhugger AB Synth? PM me
4. Kind of off topic as it's not bass-related but thought it might be of interest to some of you. I'll be using this set-up at a jam session tomorrow:
5.
No offence intended, but if you're going to get preachy about the rules...
Heh, way to quote out of context...
6. Hi Daz, whereabouts are you based?
7.
Only thing is - how on earth do I get hold of one in the UK? Again, I've only had a quick look around, but the distributors (Godlyke) are no help on that front.
Try Hotrox, I think they stock them.
8.
have you sold this?
It's on hold as it says in the first post...
9. A few to look at: Catalinbread SFT Barber LTD (My personal favourite) MXR M80 Ashdown Hyperdrive Boss ODB-3 (I didn't get on with it but you might) Xotice BB Bass Preamp The Sansamp VT Bass is an obvious one and is very popular.
10. Bump. £40?
11. Bump. £45?
12. Looking to sell my SYB-3, it's in good condition, no box though. This is a really great pedal, just not much use to me at the moment. Looking to get £40 posted/paypal'd within the UK. PM me if you have any questions or trade offers. I'd specifically be interested in trading towards a PT-2 (+ cash from my end). ON HOLD until Tuesday Cheers and such, AJ
13. I use my fx loop for Chorus, Tremolo, Delay and Reverb. Octave, Dirt, Filter and Compressor are before the amp. I've only started using this setup recently and it's working out very well for me. I need to have some sort of interface box built so I can wire everything up easier.
14. Bump... Bad Horsie and Small Stone are sold.
15. I use the Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone. It's really versatile and it's got loads of sustain, great for high gain feedback (if that's you thing )
16.
I'm afraid that the above isn't for me, I only have a normal ink printer. Any other ideas???
You can't really make your own if you don't have a laser printer. As far as I know anyway... there may well be a solution I haven't come across.
17.
Cool, not to worry, I gues I'll have to have a go myself Do you have alink to a good tutorial by any chance ? Preferably one you've tried and works
This one's great: http://www.riccibitti.com/pcb/pcb.htm

19. Just bought a volume pedal from Andy. Good communication, prompt shipping. No problems here!
20. Just bought a Boomstick Bottom Feeder from Daryl. He's a really pleasant guy to deal with! Good communications, the pedal was well packaged and posted in good time! The pedal's great as well... absolutely no problems here .
21.
Despite them being mainly guitar pedals, why did you prefer them on guitar fella? What was about them that wasn't so good on bass?
The Tone Press loses a bit of low end, especially on high compression settings and I found it to be quite noisy (more-so on bass than guitar). The LTD silver is great, very organic. No doubt a great pedal but not what I want on bass, I prefer my dirt to have a slightly more compressed sound.
22. I've used the LTD Silver and the Tone Press. I don't have either of them any more but was very impressed. I preferred them on guitar rather than bass (especially the tone press) but great pedals nonetheless. David Barber's a great guy to deal with as well.
23. Payment sent for the FV-500L
24. John just bought my Boss OC-3. Very easy to deal with, good communications, prompt payment. No problems here
