  1. Great project you've got going on there. Here's my RS840BK Fretless.
  2. Try here my friend: http://www.petecornish.co.uk/cable1.html
  3. Is this collection only.
  4. I recently purchased an American Original 60s P bass in Surf Green with Tort guard. After a set up by Graeme Mennie at Kinellar guitars the bass is just brilliant.

Being a clergyman I have been known in my time to choose the hymn : ‘Crown him with many crowns’
  6. I don’t like the overuse of slap on demos on YouTube. Sometimes there is just too much especially at the beginning of the vid. If a vid starts with slapping I immediately move on to the next video. Apart from that the technique does have a place when it is tastefully used in the right place at the right time.
  7. I just wanted to make a mention of the courteous way we deal with each other. The feedback section is excellent and shows how pleasant it is to buy and sell on this forum. However, not all communications end with a sale but these exchanges don’t get into feedback. Courtesy and friendliness is still observed so I thought I would just post up to say how much I appreciate this community. I have been a member since the Bassworld days and have thoroughly enjoyed my membership. It’s a good place to be.👍
  8. Thank you.👍
  9. I just want to know. Asking questions and getting answers is how we gain knowledge.
  10. I am trying to find out what class (a,ab, or d) my Mesa Boogie Walkabout (300w) amp is. I really don’t know how to tell. Can I also assume that the amps bigger brother the m-pulse 600 will be the same? Thanks.
  11. I am considering acquiring and early 50s style p bass. However, I think I heard before that it is not recommended to rest the thumb on the single coil pickup. Can anyone shed light on this? Thanks.
  12. Thanks for these great replies. I’m nervous about packing and unfortunately we only have a branch of Kennys in Aberdeen which is obviously closed at the moment. As they never have what I’m looking for I’m not sure if they will have a box. I’ll work out an asking price and try it locally and see what happens.
  13. I am thinking about selling my Mesa Boogie Walkabout Scout 1X12 Combo. I live in Aberdeen so the market may be rather limited. I am concerned however that if I offer to post the combo then I will have to pack it securely. I would hate anything to happen to the combo in transit and so am seeking advice as to the best the way to pack and courier a combo. Thanks!
  14. I have one of these basses. They are superb basses.

  16. I have the exact twin of this bass. A quite superb instrument. This one looks every bit of the asking price. GLWTS.
  17. That is quite simply magnificent!
  18. Doesn't alter the fact that it is a non-essential journey.
  19. Surely collection involves a non-essential journey.
  20. Does the price include shipping?
  21. I certainly am my friend. I also trust that you are thriving.👍
  22. That is a very good price for these G&G cases. A substantial saving on retail. GLWTS!
  23. Ah, my old bass. It is an absolute cracker. Whoever gets this will not be disappointed. Gareth is also a great guy to deal with. GLWTS!
  24. Mine is 4ohms which is why I started the thread by asking advice on what cab(s) I could use with the head on its own which would give more volume.
