My quote came to around $710 dollars, unfinished and with no pick up routing, which including shipping and the import/vat is around £530 odd quid. An off the cuff price up from the Sims website is slightly more...... D.
Jon Shuker would build it but it would cost more and there would probably be a wait.
 2.
Very nice matey!
Yep, I think it could well be a looker!
 3.
I keep looking at it type BUMP
Ahhh, you could always give in to temptation!
 4.
Amazed this hasn't gone yet, its a looker, I guess its a sign of the times, everyones skint! How do the bare knuckle J's sound? I've just had the split coil put in a lakland glaub and it is awesome, as a result I'm taking a punt and getting Jon Shuker to put them in my jazz build, a leap of faith nut I'm confident!
Or even "but" damn you Johnnie Walker!

 8.
That'd be great. Will keep an eye out for them.
Will probably be early next week, on a show this week so not had the opportunity.
 9.
Added a link to this sale thread on the Facebook ACG Fanpage. HTH. ...and bump.
Many thanks, much appreciated, I'll try and get some sounds recorded and up asap as well.
 10.
And so the excitement begins I need a six string.... Hmmm.... Unfortunately I need money for a deposit on a house and a decent car (don't tell my current car) so I should be able to get a new bass in 20 or so years I have a feeling this bass is going to be rather pretty though
hope so!
 11.
.................that being the case, I'll try again
And received!
 12.
Ahh but it will still be beautiful!
Starting to take shape, should be very cool!
 13.
I think the wheel have come off the technology somewhere, if you've sent a PM through I haven't received it, probably me being thick!
I'm reply to the preamp thing, yes they are amazing, I'm having one put in my new bass, they take a little practise to get used to how they function but there is an amazing array of tones available, in short they sound stunning!
 14.
PM'd
I think the wheel have come off the technology somewhere, if you've sent a PM through I haven't received it, probably me being thick!
 15.
17mm spacing strings at bridge are you sure???
Yep, that's what Alan tells me, feels like 17mm but I've not measured it.
 16.
Weekly bump
Have a bump, the Sei stuff is right up there with the best and this one looks funky as hell! someone has to buy it, if I had some cash I would!
 17.
Cheers for all the kind words folks, yep, guilty as charged, I am bonkers to sell it, it is a fantastic bass in every way! I spend most of my time plodding on a P bass but needed the low B, I saw it and bought it on impulse as I have a 4, I know they are fantastic etc, to be honest 6 strings is beyond my gimp like technique, 4 is fine, 5 I can do, 6? nah, not for me,I'm too clumsy! Alan is currently building me a 5 which will be an uber sexy bass and will take the place of this one.
Monday bump.
 18.
Despite any thinly veiled digs, these absses sell themselves. Quite simply, my ACG Harlot singlecut is the best bass I've ever played. Countless scores of basses costing loads more are relegated to the "good, but not as good as my ACG" category. Could I find something else that looks as good? Probably not. Could I find something else that sounds as good? No. Could I find something else that plays as well? probably not. Could I find something else as well built? Not without paying considerably more than an ACG costs.
Cheers for all the kind words folks, yep, guilty as charged, I am bonkers to sell it, it is a fantastic bass in every way! 19.
Thanks, that'd be great!
If your ever in the Midlands your also more tham welcome to drop in and play it, same goes for anyone else.
 20.
Why not ? All my basses have flat boards, try one.
Flat seems ok to me too and the asymmetric thing is great! I'll try and sort some clips this week, I'm too low tech at home to get anything like a decent recording.
 21.
I mix it. Flat on my ACG, curved on my Jazz bass and Kubicki. I probably feel most 'at home' on the ACG now.
The ACG's have an asymmetric neck profile which works really well with the zero radius board, v comfortable and. Doodle to play.
 22.
Why the **** would people play deliberately on a no radius board? Good luck for the sale, nice 6 stringers those days and i'm desperate to find one that fits my needs
I have no knowledge about the radius thing, I just pick it up and play it and it feels fine! Scale length is 34"
 23. Morning everyone, Here we have my ACG "Recurve" single cut bolt on 6, I've had the bass from new for a few months but having sold my soul to Barclaycard I need to free up some dosh (I also seriously fancy the short scale "Tefano" Alan is building)! The bass is beautifully built, top drawer stuff and very playable, balance is great with no neck dive and it weighs round the 9lb mark. Sound wise you can nail pretty much anything on it, very versatile. Specs are: Swamp Ash body with 7 piece Wenge/Maple neck. Pao Ferro finger board with no radius. ACG SB pickup in bridge and RFB at the neck ACG EQ01 pre-amp. Hipshot Type A 17mm spacing Schaller strap locks. oil lubricated steel wool satin lacquer finish, come is a hiscox case. Condition: A1, it is pristine, no wear, dings or issues whatsoever, it is as new. Price;Sold. Chris. Back up, I no longer need to sell it but have come r the conclusion 6 string s too many for my technique!
 24.
Thanks Mike! Already spoken to Alex on the subject. I'm away for a week as of tomorrow, so if there's still no interest generated on here by the time I get back, I think I'll take your advice and pop along and see what's what. Cheers, Eude
I doubt it will hang around, its a lot of bass for the money, what you got your eye on to replace it? another ACG?
 25.
friday bump.
Friday.
