2.
bump for pics, need to make a phonecall as this may already have gone, ill keep you all posted
It is a wonderful bass, looks & feels great with a gorgeous sound (alas it was way beyond my humble technique!), it's in great condition & someone could grab themselves a very serious bargain here!
 3.
oh lordy, what a pretty bass
Yep, its a lovely bass, a great bit of wood & sounds fantastic, just fancy a change! no sign of my 5 yet Jack, I assume he's doing a mighty fine job the amount of time it is taking!
 4. Hi all, here we have my Alembic Epic 4, now sold.
 5.
Sandberg PM5. Bookmatched bubinga top with matching headstock. Block inlays and black hardware. Delano pups and I believe a Glock pre amp. It also has a passive option. This is a great bass and is unmarked. Very versatile. Does a reasonable stingray impression (maybe a bit less scooped) and its not too shabby as a P bass either - although I've not used the P pup as much as I thought I would. Only downside is its not the lightest bass I've ever had. I will sort out pics asap but in the meantime there is a pic in a previous thread: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...amp;hl=sandberg There are also some sound clips at DWband.co.uk. Not the best as its DI (from a GK head post eq) taken from the desk. Also the mid and top are boosted quite a bit to cut through the wall of guitar, keys and brass in that band - still it will give you an idea. I have an incoming classic SR5 so I'm looking to trade this for something that gives me a different option sound wise - probably looking at a J bass derivative but not completely married to that. Just thought I would gauge interest and see what's out there. Tried some Laklands that I really liked so that would be a good starting point - 55-02, JO5 or a DJ5. Only looking at trades and only intersted in 5 strings. Either collection from the north east or I may be in the Leeds, Nottingham and Telford areas over the next couple of weeks. NB: I have a mate who might be interested in buying it so I might withdraw it if he makes his mind up Thanks John
Lovely basses & Johns a good bloke to deal with, someone will be very happy with this one!
 6.
Thanks Steve, good to meet you too! Wirralisation in progress.
Just traded a Joe Osborn for a stingray 5, pleasure doing business! cheers Steve.
 7.
Was that the one you had off me? Beautiful basses and TBH I think this one looks nicer.
That's the & it was an excellent bass, I agree that this one looks nicer though, lovely grain & a slightly different shape, a real work of art, I'm guessing at his price it will probably be long gone before I can raise any cash though.
 8.
thankyou for the kind words i just wish more people new how nice they are, its a hell of a bass for this money!!, cheers
Bump for a fine bass at a fine price, I still miss mine & admit to being a real plank for parting with it!

 11.
One of the best fives I've played ever! You up for trades? What you after this week?
You know me Rich, I'm broadminded but not your left handed Kramer! Stingray's are nice tho......
 12.
Nice looker
Cheers, it is & the pics don't really do it justice, it has a really nice grain & a slightly darker tint than a lot of naturals, really well finished as well.
 13.
Looks superb! I was after one of these a couple of years ago and they still totally look the business.
It is a lovely bass, very big sound & the build on these really is excellent, I'm just hankering after a Ray or something a little different.
 14. Morning all, Here we have a Lakland Skyline Joe Osborn 5 string which I bought from new a couple of weeks ago but after extended playing I've decided it isn't really what I'm looking for, doh! Now Gone.
 15.
just sold my K5 to Tom. Great communications, all round great experience. Cheers, Barry
Just trade my Spector Euro LX4 with Tom, our second transaction & both have been perfect, a pleasure doing business!
 16.
Can't believe this is still around! At that price! Like your new Lakland, very nice.
Alas it still is so I've reduced the price a tad. Lakkie is good, very solid, not sure its me but it is a decent bass.
 17.
Just wanted to bump this, Looks gorgeous from the pics!
Very nice!
 18.
mummy One of my favourite basses in my favourite colour
It's 1.62" which I think is just over 41.1mm in new money. Looks v nice in the Amber, shows off the wood top really well, difficult to photo though!
 19.
So, for sale is a Music Man Bongo 4 in Egyptian Smoke. Mint condition except for the tiniest of dinks on the headstock (not very visible at all). Action is perfect, new Super Slinkys have just been fitted and the bass comes with a good quality gig bag. The pickguard fitted on the Bongo in the picture has been taken off and is currently fitted with a black ice pickguard with no ramp between the pups. The only reason I am selling this bass is because I prefer my Iceni to this and I can't justify having 2 expensive basses. I am based in Coventry and you are welcome to collect. Otherwise, £850 including postage. No trades, no offers. Payment via bank transfer, cash in hand - no PayPal please. Tom
These are really nice instruments + Tom really looks after his basses & is a good bloke to deal with, well worth a punt!
 20.
I thought this was a keeper, sounds ace!
It does, they are fantastic basses but I just fancy something a little different.
 21.
Ash - You're welcome! Have a free bump for a superb bass!
Many thanks, it also has a new set of ash's favourite 45-105's on it & yes they do sound awesome!
 22.
Buyer pulls out, back up for sale. The bass is professionally setup with a straight neck and low action. No issues at all and in as new condition.
I love the look of this, shame I can't play them without frets, definitely worth someone having a punt though.
 23.
Ah, flogging a Euro 4 for a Euro 5 - some bloke on here did that a few months ago. Daft idea, sell something else.
True but I'd have to take a major financial hit if I flogged any of my other stuff, I was fortunate enough to pick this one up at a v good price!
 24.
Heh heh heh!!
Go on Ash, open you wallet, you know it makes sense, its a beaut, I just want one with 5 strings on it now!!
