2.
Well there was a small problem - it was marked slightly incorrectly so they called up to check it was ok. Went through on Monday though! Hmm... Definitely will call tomorrow and will update. Haha, free bumpage for you too!
Yeah, sounds about right, mine had a wee nick on the back of it & the deadest strings I've come across, obviously been there a while but otherwise brand new, plays great!
 3.
Hasn't arrived yet! Which is odd considering the order went through on Sunday. Hmm. I'll give em a call tomorrow
Yeh, I'd give them a bell, mine arrived within 24 hours, mind you if there was a problem I'd assume they would contact you, worth the wait, v nice basses!
 4.
Not to your liking then? Sorry mate
No worries, it is beautiful but does what my Alembic 5 does (which is a good thing) so one of them has to go, mind you, I do turn over loads of gear, must be a short attention span thing! hows the spector?
 5. Withdrawn for now, Cheers for the interest.
 6.
Had a few offers, but nothing concrete. On reflection I should point out that the only bass I wouldn't need to do some A/B'ing with would be a Smith, so if you've got any other offers you might want to bear in mind that I'm in the West Midlands; prepared to travel, but within reason (i.e. Aberdeen would be pushing it!)
Can't believe no one has snapped his one up, bargain!
 7.
Some interesting options, will need to check these out. Stay posted.
What does it weigh Rich? It may be ok for one of my kids.
 8.
I wish I had a spare £625 laying around, mate!
I used to have a fretted one of these & they a really nice basses, at this price this one is a serious bargain, I can't believe its still here!

 10.
Just met with Ash to hand over my prized Spector. Lovely bloke, came through on his commitment to buy and met me at the earliest opportunity. A thoroughly pleasant transaction and Ash comes highly recommended as someone to deal with.
Just done a deal with Ash on his Pedulla 5, great price for a v nice bass + a top bloke also, a pleasure doing business!

 18.
that's a stunning colour
Age wise I have no idea I'm afraid, it doesn't have the latest style tuners on it thought, the frets look in pretty good nick to me.
 19. Evening everyone, here we have a Fender American Deluxe jazz bass in "cherry burst" with rosewood board & dot inlays, noiseless pickups & active preamp. I picked this up recently as part of a trade but don't have any real need for it so have decided to sell on to raise some extra cash. The bass is a really good player, great neck, no issues with the electronics & with new strings fitted. There are couple of dings on the body (pictured) but nothing that effect playability or signs of real abuse. She comes with a reasonable Hiscox case & I can ship (cost to be negotiated). I'm pricing at £595 ono for a quick sale. Cheers for looking.
 20.
I played this bass today.. Absolutely stunning bass, great looks, great feel, great sound. Would love it but one alembic purchase is probably enough.. for this week at least
It is a beaut & I think a pretty good price for a mint one of these but I have plenty of basses & not plenty of cash, the 5er is also challenging for my "hobby horse" technique!
 21.
WoW! Always disliked Alembic headstocks - that one looks really cool; don't 'spose you're heading anywhere near Leeds sometime soon [I gotta stop buying 'unseen']..
Alas I'm not, it is a beauty but I'm skint & cannot not get my head round a 5, getting to the point of being embarassing!
 22.
Cheers! It is pretty, I'm also entertaining trades for stuff round the £1k mark with a few quid my way.
Price drop bump!
 23. Cheers James, great transaction with a top bloke & v serious player! look forward to doing business again. All the best Chris.
 24. Morning everyone, I'm after some advice! does anyone out there know of a luthier/guitar tech in the Midlands area who can be trusted/recommended to do a decent pro set up on my basses? I could take it to the gallery where it will get real tlc but if there is someone local who is good then I can give them some work! Cheers. Chris. PS apols if it is in the wrong forum thingy.
 25.
I love Alembic Basses and sound, this one is really wonderful
Cheers! It is pretty, I'm also entertaining trades for stuff round the £1k mark with a few quid my way.
