Did you buy this one from Marcus? I sold one that looked just like it to him a couple of months ago! Same ding on the top half of the body and everything! Looks like the same bass to me, and it's a good 'un!
Certainly is! its a fantastic bass but I've picked up a headless version of it which really is something else so I'm having a a clear-out to replenish the coffers a little! -
Hi all,
Latest in my bass clear out, I bought this off "nologic69" a couple of months back & it is a stonking bass but my pansy fingers struggle with the thicker neck so I'm looking for something a little slimmer! It's a 2005 MIA precision in "butterscotch blonde" (discontinued colour) with a rosewood fretboard. Condition wise its very good, the neck is spot on apart from one tiny nick which is well out of the way, the body is good with only minor scratching on the pick guard. The bass plays beautifully with no issues & sounds like a P bass should, kind of a healthy Motown style thump to it. I'm pricing at £595 ono for a quick sale (inc a pretty decent moulded fender case) & would prefer collection (from Birmingham) but can meet within a reasonable distance.
Cheers for looking
Chris.
PS haven't thought about trades but try me! -
Morning everyone,
This is Status Matrix 1 thru neck 4 string with graphite neck & J J config. The pups are status hyperactive Jazz + 2 band eq & the woodwork is American walnut. Condition wise it is top notch, the neck & fret work are fantastic as is the body, the only marks on the body are some small marks in the clear coat finish which are hardly noticeable, all the electronics work fine & it comes in a moulded hard case. Sound wise it is typical status, fat, v punchy & with a real "zing" to it. I've recently picked up and fallen in love with a headless version of this & can't justify owning two of these, thus the sale. I'm pricing at f £575 ono for a quick sale with collection from Birmingham preferred (I can meet on a motorway) but I can arrange a courier at buyers cost.
Cheers for looking
Chris.
PS. I'm not really looking for trades but feel free to try, esp if you have: Lakland Duck Dunn, Sadowky jazz or PJ hybrid (+ cash your way), Sandberg California PM4...... -
This used to be mine and is a stunning Bass. Has a narrow string spacing making it a dream to play.
Good Luck with the sale.
Cheers mate, yep its a really nice bass, just doesn't see the light of day very often & I have my eye on something else, it'll be a bargain for someone! -
Hi everyone,
here we have a striking looking Lag collection 5 stringer (inc used ABS case) with flamed maple top finished in red burst made France in the late 1980's. Pickups are active EMG's & it has gold Schaller hardware. There is the odd very minor ding & small scratches & some of the gold has worn off the tuners & knobs, that aside it is in really good condition with a slim neck & plays beautifully, it would make a great budget 5'er for someone but alas I'm not using it! I'm pricing it at £299 ono for a quick sale. Collection from Birmingham preferred but happy to meet on the motorway somewhere.
Cheers for looking. -

Still trying to find a UK site that sells the new Mark Hoppus ones to see what prices are like
