    G'day there Jack, long time no see! This one weighs in round the 9lb mark, balances well, no neck dive. Soundwise it does everything a good jazz should, nice growl etc, you could alway drop in an Audere or East preamp which would give more options? If in doubt come round and have a noodle on it, anyone that fancies it is welcome!

    Cheers for the info Lozz, the gotohs are nice, I used to have one on a shuker, i'm jist looking for a 3 hole version of it, otherwise I'd have to start drilling, I've found a hipshot type B with a 3 hole fender mount, not sure!

    Not sure but I think hipshot and babicz are both £70+, will check out gotoh now, I can't find a badass 3 for sale anywhere.

    Evening all! I've recently picked up an old(ish) USA jazz, just wondered if anyone has any thoughts on bridge upgrades? I know there is a lot of love for the badass but they are hard to come by, I'm also looking at a hipshot type B or a babicz, any recommendations or am I wasting my dosh? Cheers Chris

    I mailed for info a couple of days go re 84 jazz pups, got a reply on the same day, they are shut until the 2nd so I'll order a set then and let you know how I do, I have heard really good things about the pickups though and the price v good.
