1.
This is just ridiculous. For a start I cannot believe how much Jon underprices his instruments....BUT £300 for a luthier built bass of this quality is INSANE!!! I am trying seriously hard to stop myself buying this as I have 2 cars to get though MOT's next week
+1, It's a huge bargain. If you are not familiar with these they are seriously nice hand crafted basses, top build, v light and great sounds/playability. A bespoke build for sub fender mex money? Someone will be happy with this.
2. Yup it's bright, well, lighter than the pics, just difficult to photo, I really need to do it out doors but it's wazzing down here!
3. Morning all, - Currently withdrawn, may try again when everyone has got over the xmas credit card bill! - Here we have my Stingray 4 in trans orange, I've had it for a few months but something has caught my eye so its floating a as a bit of a feeler. Its a great bass, looks and sounds amazing and also doesn't weigh a ton (Sub 9lb). Condition wise it is excellent, there is one small nick on the back (pictured), otherwise its damn near mint, no issues at all. Trades? Its really a fundraiser but you never know so feel free to ask (I might be tempted by a nice P with a cash adjustment either way depending on what it is). Shipping? Yup (UK only please) but at the buyers expense. Better pics: http://s1294.beta.ph...ibrary/Stingray Thanks for looking Chris. 6. Morning all, anyone know any good spray/refinish gurus? I have a fender jazz i've picked up recently which I really like and I'm toying with the idea of apply a bit of TLC, just wondered if anyone has any knowledge in terms of getting a refinish (I fancy a different colour) and possibly a neck refinish? is it a bonkers idea and if not where good to go? Cheers Chris.
7. Yup, i've been reading the posts, I'm not in a huge rush, have just picked a fender at a v good price and fancy tarting it up a tad.
8. Morning All, daft question but does anyone know where I can source (or have made) an 8 hole pick guard for a fender jazz? I've looked online and found loads of 10's, 12's etc but no 8'S, just worried the screw holes will be in the wrong place! Cheers. Chris.
9. Just bought a USA jazz off Frank, great price and a really nice bass, completely hassle free transaction and a pleasure to deal with, can highly recommend.

15.
Very kind indeed Gary, thankyou sir. Unfortunately I just realised it doesn't have an aux input (not sure why I thought it did) so I'm afraid it's no good for me. Sorry to mess you about.
no Worries, not a prob! Still going if anyone wats a decent little amp on a budget.
16. Cheers for the offer Gary, that would have been ideal, if only I''d put it up a week ago, I've just had a weeks hols but alas next mon I'm in work again, I'll go box hunting and see what I can do.
17. Possibly, just need to find something to put it in, or meet on the m5 if you can chuck in a few quid for petrol, maybe cheaper and less hassle?
