I had a 79 black/black/maple P bass I wish I still had, but apart from that there arent really any other I totally regret selling. I did regret selling my DJ4 until I got my current bass, a Sandberg JM4 now I dont regret it all. The sandberg is my perfect bass!!

Not a great pic, but here's me and my natural ash California JM4. Stunning bass, both in terms of looks, playability and sound. Although both implies 2 things I named 3 things!! I could go on. I truely have a lot of love for Sandberg now, eats Fenders for breakfast IMHO

I have a Sandberg JM4 does that count as a clone? probably not as it has a MM PuP at the bridge?

Ive had numerous 6's over the years, always ended up selling then regretting!! I now have the GT10b and theres a whole lot more stuff in it. Ive had the 10 now for a few months and only really scratched the surface. Im in work atm so cant go in to detail, but would recommend the 10B over the 6B. Theres just so much stuff in it and the possibilities seem endless.

I just had a very smooth trade with John, superb from the start. Top guy.

How many do you need? Im a tee shirt printer, we dont use screens though, its vinyl cut lettering. Which is better in my opinion as the edges are a lot clearer. I work for a company in Ormskirk, Lancashire. Send me a pm if I can help, or my work email is Cheers Mike

I use my gig rig for rehearsals, SWR 700 watt amp and 2x Aguilar GS112's. Give me loads of headroom, and gives me chance to try different things out, which i couldnt do really at a gig.

Thats a stunning looking bass, and im quite tempted. Pics as promised, but as its dark Ive had to take them inside and with it being a very black bass they didnt turn out great. Since getting my Sandberg JM4 this gorgeous precision hasnt had a look in. Ive always taken it to gigs as my back up but I dont think I'll ever really use it. I dont like to see basses not getting used to decided tp put it up for sale. Its an all black 1986 ( I think ) MIJ Fender Precision. Black hardware, Badass II bridge and a brlliant neck with a nice low action. This model doesnt have a scratchplate so the jack is on the side. I had the jack socket replaced by Ged Green at the end of last year. Plays great, sounds great, Im just loving my Sandberg. I will add some pics tonight, as long as I get chance to get her out for a photoshoot. Price Im looking for £375 ovno I would consider trades for other equipment, WHY

Yep, Fender for me too. A nice 'year of birth' 73 Jazz would do nicely.

The controls and scratch plate look wrong for a real MM?

I always play something close to the original, but I do like to ad my own thing in there aswell. How close to the original depends on the song, as there are some songs that really do sound the best when played with the original bass line.

Ive used this site before for backing tracks to practise too http://www.karaoke-version.co.uk/custombackingtrack/ You have to pay for the tracks, but you can select which instruments you want on the tracks so you would be able to just get the drum tracks. Also good for getting songs that your band wants to play in a different key!! As I say the only down side is you have to pay for each track......

After a few years off, even sold all my gear. I got back into a band at the end of last years, replaced the previous bass player as he wasnt commited to the band, or even very good (not that Im that good ;-) ) Anyway its a 4 piece, female lead vocals and guitar, bass and drums. Having a blast playing covers Ive never played in a band before. The band stick to playing stuff post 1990 so not a lot of what other covers band are doing.
