I personally think Mr Fairweather lowe always puts on a good show. He certainly did when he did the unplugged gig with Eric Clapton. Out of all the bass Ive owned the only one I regret selling was my 1979 black/black/maple P bass. I love the look of this and will be looking to buy one when its released over here. It hasnt yet, I know as Ive already been into the local shop to see if he could get one.....

Ive just bought one, coming back to bass playing after a 2 or 3 year gap I needed something I could load with music to try and back to where I was. Ive also got a set worth of stuff to learn asap. Personally I think its a great piece of kit, very impressed. I had heard about reliability issues so I paid a little extra for a 5 year warranty.

Well coming back into playing I had to get the best I could for what I had to spend. I just bought a lovely candy red Sterling SB14 from ebay, and Im VERY impressed. Fantastic finish, the bass was pretty much mint. Playing wise I really cant fault it, its got a really great feeling neck with a nice action. Ive only played it through headphones so far, as Im waiting to get my hands on an amp, but it sounds great. Im very happy with it. Dont care if its not a 'real' MM.

Ive not been around for quite a while so thought it a good idea to say hello again. I sold up a couple of years ago and regretted it ever since. I sold my Aguilar/Epi rig and my DJ4, BIG mistake. Im now going to be starting up again so thought it a good idea to get myself back on here. I will be posting a wanted thread and browsing the for sale forums. Basically Im looking for a 4 string for around £400 and a giggable combo for around £500.
