I have been using a little mixer through headphones and running my laptop into it to learn new songs and practise. After spilling a pint on it, its given up the ghost. So Im looking for something to replace it. What Im after is something I can plug in my laptop/stereo or can store music. Ideally something with a drum machine, although I could possibly buy a drum machine seperatly. I dont know whether to get a usb interface and run through my laptop. One thing I've seen is the Boss Micro Br, which looks quite good. Any other recomendations.

That'll be a bump then. Will consider offers on all of these. We're now using top of the range QSC powered FOH and Monitors so this stuff will be gathering dust. -
Well it has 4 pots, so the jack would need to be mounted on the side yes.

I bought this on an impulse to put in my DJ. However I've since decided not to messs with it as I love the tone I get from the bass passive. The pre amp is the Deluxe 3 band model with passive tone. and 3 way Z mode. Its mounted on a standard Jazz plate to slot straight in to a Jazz bass. The control are Vol - Mid/Balance - Treble/Bass - Passive tone. Also has the 3 way Z switch which does IIRC Low Z - Mid Z and High Z. It even has a swish blue LED to show battery strength. I want what I paid which was £70 open to trades for Headphone / Practise amps. Something like the Pandora PX4D and the like.

I've owned and used both the EBS and the Punch Factory. I wasnt keen on the EBS, as it didnt seem to actually do anything, or maybe thats what its supposed to do But the Punch factory I loved. Stayed very transparent, but I found i wasa ble to get it to do what I wanted very quickly. The only thing is, they're prone to breaking !! lol And mine is currently not working.

Selling on behalf of my brother. These are owned by him and where used by my band till he decided to quit playing. Crown XLS802 as new only used 3 or 4 times the power tops. 1050 watts a side @ 2ohms. Comes in as new Gator 2U rack case. £350 ono Peavey UL115 Bass bins, the older (and better) model. Excellent condition. 4ohms and 500 watts each. £250 for the pair 2x 15" Yamaha passive stage monitors, not sure on the model of these but will check if needed. 300 watts and 8ohms each. £200 for the pair My band also own a PV2600 Peavey power amp that is for sale as the new drummer has JBL powered speakers for the FOH. Good used condition and being peavey will run for years. IIRC 1300 watts a side @ 2ohms, and has various ins and outs inc built in Speaker protection and crossoever. £250 ovno Can come in a 4U Gator rack case for an extra £30. I'll try and get pics up asap.

Gigged the whole thing for the first time last night, and unfortunately I had to put my rig up on the bench at the back of the pub due to space. My on stage sound was sh**e, really thin and weedy thanks to the rig being off the floor. However the DI on the Aguilar was superb and the FOH sound was huge!! and very punchy. Everyone that has heard the rig/bass together has told me Im stupid for considering putting a pre in the bass, only time will tell lol. The Audere will be going in next week sometime.

The Epi is such a good cab I dont think I've found anything good enough to replace it, like for like. However if a pair of Epi 1x12"'s ever came up for sale/trade I'd be tempted lol never say Never

Lovin the DJ4, Lowered the action to what I like. The bass now has a PuP covers over the Neck PuP and will be getting an Audere Pre next week.

lol That was a cracking amp, sounded huge with the 4x12". I think the Epifani and Aguilar comination I have now quench any amp regrets or GAS I may have....

This is the only bass I wish I still had. And this because the guy I traded it too, made about £400 profit when he sold it on ebay !!!!

Yes, it was a good afternoon. A HUGE thanks have to go to Jon, Chris and Chris for setting up the event. i really hope we have another one. I took a few pics, not that many really.

IIRC you can get an ashtray cover to fit over a Badass II however I think they're more the Jazz type cover. You dont need to use screws, A big nail will also do they job!! Seriously though you could possibly use double sided tape. But when you take it off you may bring some paint with it. BTW I've just got a PuP Cover to go on my Lakland DJ, so I'll be drilling a couple of holes in that.

I've had a pair of Er20's for ages but never used them till about 4 weeks ago. I wont play without them now, took a bit of getting used to but the benefit of being able to hear when Im older really made me want to give them a go. They actually help with backing vocals as well!!! I seem to be able to pitch better thsn without them!!
