This was the 5 I bought back as one of the basses I regretting selling. However after playing the Bongo for a while that does everything I need for my covers band so would like something more vintage/passive for the blues band. This is a 5 string Lakland 5501 Dlx Bartolini Mk1 Pups and Pre. Stunning Quilt maple top and maple neck. Hipshot Ultralite tuners. The bass is a red burst colour. So Im offering this for trade for jazz/Precision type basses. 4 String and cash either way depending on deal. I'll sort out some pics asap.

Nice and bright without being over bright. and the brightness does last a decent amouny of time, although as you stated cheap enough to replace often.

I bought from drdave from these forums a month or so ago as a backup. Never really used it, only a few rehearsals. In complete working order, although I have noticed an occasional low level crackle, which was declared on the Docs ad Possibly dust build up from not being used enough or a dusty pot. 240 watts @ 4ohms and a loud 240 at that, I'd happily gig this amp with the ul310 cab. I paid £150 but will let it go for £120 + delivery

I would've been quite happy to hang on to it, but a large male Royal Python is waiting to be picked up!!! The bass is as new only been played about 4 times.

I only got to do 11 last year. Setting up of new band followed by a few lineup changes. Now we're settled (famous last words) we should do a few more this year.

Stick with the Rumble IMHO. They're a good combo, in fact hard to beat in that price range. IF its too loud turn it down, its better to be on 25% volume that driving a smaller amp to clipping!!!!

Love the blue/grey pearl and hot pink strings, but think the red tort is fugly. But tbh I dont like tort at all anyway, I'd still love that bass though!!
