Probably gonna give the Bongo a run out on Saturday - I'm feeling saucy.
Good stuff mate, I'll have to see if the rest of the band fancy coming along.

I should be seeing them in Chorley this weekend. Im still to hear the rig live, must do that while I have the chance
8. My current crop. Bongo 4HH, Fugly as sin!!! BUT you forget that once its plugged in, easily the best sounding bass I've played. Lakland 5501 Dlx, stunning looking bass and sounds HUGE!! I was chuffed to bits to be able to buy this back. Now all I need is my Marcus Jazz!! The beater for Pub gigs I dont want to take the Bongo or Lakland to. Its been played about 5 times and is mint!!! And the Rig. GK 1001RB II 700 watts into an Epifani UL310 I dont own the Warwick any more.
9. What are you doing to me!!! £300!! Good god That wont be here long
10.
36" 24" 36" What?
sold
11. I dont own a bass atm that I couldnt live without. If I had to choose one bass, and only one it would have to be a good Jazz, probably a DJ 4 or 5.
12. I play over the bridge PuP aswell. I like the feel of the strings better there and the tone.
13. Good review Im very tempted to buy the Mike Dirnt Squier atm and this review isnt helping the GAS. You see to hear alot of good things about the Squiers of today.
14. For gigs I use my existing amp a GK 1001RB II, 700 watts. I've never come close to clipping my amp, and I would say Im in tone nirvana. I have just started using a GK 400RB I bough off DrDave, 240 watts @ 4ohms, I bought this as a backup and to use for rehearsals. Even with this lower power rating I still have plenty in reserve for playing with the band.
15. There have been a few goodn's. But my happiest gig memory had to be a charity gig we did for Children in Need, organised by a local club. Superb crowd, dance floor full from the first note played to the last.
16. The ABY pedal, can you use that for using 2 basses into one amp?? Stupid question I know!!! IF you can I'll take it.
17.
The Glaub is just superb too.
3rd'd The perfect colour combo for that type of bass
18. Excellent Condition ME50b for sale or will trade for a GT6B + Cash. Aluminium case, powersupply and original manual. I think I still have the original box aswell. £100 + Delivery.
19. I use a 700 watt head into a 3x10. FOr me its all about quality of sound and headroom. With my rig, even without PA support at a quite big gig (300 People) I've never had to go over 10 o'clock on the volume. The fact thats it a relatively light rig and an easy one man lift is a HUGE bonus.
20. It really does glow!! and is very well finished.
