1. Struggled with this myself, but then realised if you press the small blue circle on the far left of the thread title it does just that.
2. Ooh a gig close enough to go to. Will see if I'm aloud out on a school night!!

4. Another vote here for the TB500. Awesome amp, and will give you all the grunt you'd ever need
5. I've tried loads of rigs/combos in the past everything from Marshall 4x12 rig to 1x15 combos. I've finally found my amp nirvana in the form of an Orange terror bass 500 and a pair of aguilar gs112s. As others have said try as many variants as you can.
6. Awesome, awesome head. I use mine with a pair of aguilar gs112s, and it goes stupid loud.
7. Hmm, could I possibly tempt you with an Aguilar GS112?
8. It is a very cool effect, really great for adding a bigger sound when the guitarist goes off for a solo. I always ran it through a Marshall jackhammer and then straight into the pa.
9. Here is my 'as new' Fishman Fission Bass Powerchord effect pedal. I always call it my rhythm guitarist in a box. Excellent for the bass player in a 3 piece band, when the guitarist goes off on a solo you can switch this on and it plays along with you, like a second guitarist would. The clean signal goes into your bass rig, then you can send the effected signal go straight into the PA, you can also add a 5th above, or a 4th below to create amazing power chords an octave up from the bass tone. This will come with the original power supply Bass players, it's your turn: Fill in the holes in a power trio with this growling, monster effects box! Fission Bass Powerchord FX Pedal lets any bassist lay down beds of power by adding stacked harmonies over their bass lines. Through an intuitive set of controls and footswitches, several combinations of octaves, 4th and 5th above the root note combine to produce powerchords or octave-up effects. It’s also a multi-effect pedal with up to 3 voices of harmony, adjustable noise gate, overdrive, tone and effect level. This power-effect combo gives you creative control over anything from subtle octaves to thick, grinding effects that even your guitar player will envy. The Fission Bass Powerchord FX Pedal uses state-of-the-art 32-bit signal processing and 24-bit audio conversion.
10. I'm currently selling a audio technica system, and in use never noticed any loss of low end. I've used a few cheaper systems over the years and even then you dont really lose anything that cant be eq'd back in at the amp end.
11. I have heard bad reports on the terror combos, lack of volume being the common complaint. I use a terror head with 2 1x12's and I have so much volume/headroom it's unreal. I'd ne happy to gig with a single 1x12, so I'd say get the head and a cab.

Fishman Fission

I've often thought about taking my lads blackstar to run it through at gigs. But there's no real need with using the jackhammer, I just go from the jackhammer into the pa. Works a treat and sounds great FOH.
13. Very nice, and will be a easier to move than 2 412's ;-)
14. I lobe being wireless, had various units over the years. The bug types are actually really good. The audio technica system I'm selling is the best I've had and only selling as I've gone from a rack amp to a smaller setup.
15. I went to watch Rush on the last tour, wasn't impressed. Actually left before the end of the gig. Think I'd rather stick to watching the older dvds.
16. Let's try a weekend bump, still available for sale or trade
17. Search YouTube for bedroom bassist, iirc his name is nick Latham? And he's a really good bassist. His channel is called bedroom bassist
18. And other hump day bump. Dont be afraid to make offers, the worst I can say is no ;-)
19. Had a cracking gig on Saturday night, first time out for the new rig, MM Jazz with the Orange TB500, sounded, well awesome. Very happy with it, we played as loud as we've ever played and I only had the volume and gain on 3, ridiculous amount of headroom!! Anyway the band played really tight, only real misshap was the guitarist forgetting to change guitars for a drop d tune, we carried on playing while he changed guitars. The crowd were brill, had a top reaction. The manageress came right to the band once we'd finished to rebook us. All in all one of the better ones.

Fishman Fission

I love my fishman fission, really helps with just having guitar, bass and drums. I run mine into a Marshall jackhammer, then into the PA.
