Looks great. Watching with interest and envy... -
Ah fair enough. I listened on Amazon Music, everything looks like an album on there.
-
Yes, the album is great, a bit short though

I listened today. Sounded nice, didn't really grab me. But sometimes things don't first time, so I'll give them another go.

The Aristocrats - The Aristocrats. Guthrie Govan plays fretless lead guitar! Some nice bass on this too (Bryan Beller).

Higher resolution version here: https://archive.org/details/taylor-hawkins-tribute-concert-2022-09-03-wembley-stadium-london-1080p (larger file size too of course, almost 8GB). Still only 30fps.

Yes definitely. I have already taken a sneak peek at Lee / Lifeson / Grohl, pretty excited to sit down and watch this.

Well spotted @cheddatom, thanks 🙂. I have just torrented that as well. Looks like it's all there. Video quality is a bit meh, so I'll try and find it on Paramount+ or something like that - but this is a good fallback in case I can't.

At this point I want to apologise to @Happy Jackfor unwittingly turning this into a thread about ironing. The relevance to the original topic is fragile at best. But when ironing, make sure you always go close to the edge.

Album by Sun's Signature, featuring this gem:

LOL the ironing thing doesn't happen often! I could have done without Rick Wakeman playing the Hallelujah Chorus though 😉

I missed this yesterday, so I'm going to try and find this on some kind of catch-up service. I think Paramount+ has it, which I can get a free trial of through Amazon Prime video on my TV. Very jealous of those who were there 😃

Watched this yesterday, passed the time admirably while going the ironing. Great show, even showed Chris Squire for a reasonable amount of the time!

The "I own a Harley Benton" show-tell thread!
MrSpace replied to Baloney Balderdash's topic in Bass Guitars
My B450FL progressive (on the left). Really fun to play. It's my first fretless (in fact my second bass ever). I went for HB as I wasn't sure how well I would get on with fretless, but it turns out that I love it! As this seems to be a topic of interest, I haven't done any setup on it yet, mainly out of laziness, but I'm pretty sure it needs one - there's a bit of buzz in a couple of places on the neck, and I think the intonation is a bit off. Now I'm a bit more invested in it, I'll get around to it soon. I'm happy with the strings it came with though. I would definitely buy HB again, but for now I'm happy with the basses I've got.- 38 replies

Thanks @stewblack, interesting article

Actually I drive with my eyes closed, helps me feel the road better.

I remember starting with the standard "poly default" toneprint, then I added a few effects on the octave up, I think it was chorus mainly, that gave it a bit of a "jangly" sound. Unfortunately I seem to have lost the files so I can't even show you a screenshot of the editor 🙁. At some point I will try to recreate it...

Yes, agree, but doesn't affect all basses. The side dots on my unlined HB B450FL are on the notes, not in between them.
