  1. Body is on hold. Pickups and bridge still available.
  2. Thanks Geoff. Just to make clear, I'm not looking for any trade offers. Thanks.
  3. I don't know, neepheid. Looks like I may have to learn to love 5-strings, after all! Another bump for the weekend.
  4. Will consider reasonable offers, but no trades please.
  5. Hi. I have some parts from an old Kay Precision copy. I've had these bits knocking around for ages and never gotten around to doing anything with them. I don't know much about them. Presumably 1970s era. The neck was, er... 'lost' in a botched de-fretting operation! Body - £20 Pickups - £10 Tuners - £SOLD Bridge - £5 All inclusive of P&P, or can be picked up from Blackpool area.
  6. Thanks guys. Sunday bump.
  7. Hi. I have decided to sell my BB615 after coming to the conclusion that 5-strings aren't for me. It's a lovely bass - typical excellent Yamaha build-quality, in a beautiful red finish. It's also in immaculate condition. If it was a four-string, I'd be keeping it! I have included some photos (right-click and view image to see full-size) which should give you a good idea of the excellent condition it is in, but if you'd like to see anything in detail I will be happy to oblige. I'm asking for £200. The bass can be collected from Blackpool, or I will send via courier within the UK at cost. Provided with a hard case (seen in the photos). I'm not a particularly active poster here, hence my low post count, but I have done a few deals on here before. Any questions, PM me or reply on here.
  8. +1 for Alan. Bought his Yamaha BB615 which he delivered personally. Lovely bass, really great deal and a nice guy too. No hesitation in recommending him to others. Cheers.
  9. Coming along nicely! Any updates? I'm as keen to see this finished as I'm sure you are.
  10. Big fan of Bauhaus myself. I always figured he was running his bass through the filter input on some old analogue synth, triggering the envelope. They were keen studio experimenters, so this would fit in.
