Pretty hesitant to do this, as you can't buy these anymore. But currently, i don't play through an amp, and i need some cash, so here it is. I will add some photos later today but its in very good condition, just a few scratches on the top. As i said, they don't make them anymore (no idea why), so you may not have heard one, but they sound fantastic. A real authority to the sound. I will not use the "H" word. Quality, quality amp at any price. At this price it is an absolute bargain. I've played a lot of Class D amps, and this is my favorite, by a long way. There is a 72 page thread on a certain site that you will find all the reviews or information you would ever need. That's here: https://www.talkbass.com/…/nad-the-best-amp-ive-ever-heard…/ Any other questions feel free to ask. I will courier, and will be happy to use buyers preferred courier. But if you can come and try it first, you should! This is advertised elsewhere, so if it sells there, it will be removed Thanks for looking
recently relocated to Cardiff with work and have just started with Jon Caulfield who is on here. Had my second lesson with him last night and I can see this working very well. All of which reminds me, I need to go do some practice...
You're in good hands. Tell him Kert said to ask about learning the floating thumb technique
Oh no...one of Andy's most beautiful Basses....loads of us followed the build - like watching a child develop. There's no doubting Andy's work - somebody's going to get an absolute blinder. Hoping that your financial situation sorts itself out and you don't need to sell.
It's a fantastic bass, no doubts. I'm devastated to have to sell, but family come first.

It's with the weight of impending redundancy that i'm having to sell a few things. Unfortunately, this is the only thing i own of this value, so i'm going to have to take the hit to cover my mortgage etc when i'm in unemployment. Wouldn't even consider selling it otherwise. Here it is: It was built by the very talented AndyJR who is also on this forum, and you can see the full build process here: http://basschat.co.u...hor%20singlecut You can see my review of it here (Including a video giving you a sample of the natural sound of the bass as it was recorded directly with no effects or processing. Please wear earphones): http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry3043473 It has been featured alongside other top end boutique basses in the No Treble Bass of the Week article here: http://www.notreble....singlecut-bass/ It's an unbelievable bass. Superb range of tones. Craftmanship of the absolute highest quality, as anyone who has played any of Andys' basses will attest to. The hardware and woods alone cost over £1500. Here is the spec: * Singlecut bass * Chambered body made from Alder, with a Camphor top. Would prefer you to come and try the bass so you can see how good it is for yourself before buying. But i will courier, at buyers cost and risk! Like i said, i'm selling because i have to, so don't offer me trades. I'm pretty sour about having to sell it at all Thanks for looking

I feel your pain. I haven't gone through a lot, but i have the same issues cropping up all the time, and it's always a "drum issue". Exhausting
Its looking great, and thanks for the thread, very interesting. Did you ever think not to have a scratchplate and let all the glittery top shine out?? I'm starting to do a squire affinity telecaster, and bought some custom car sprays, a silver base coat and a candy tangerine top coat, so I wont have the same glittery problems as you, but my thinking is I would probably hate to cover u all the lovely orangey colour with a scratchplate, so am going to fill the screw holes in with wood filler first. If I ever get beyond routing out the new pups (going for twin Gretsch esque powertron types , actually black cats from the creamery in manchester), I'll maybe start a thread of my own.
Sounds like a good build! I did think about not using a scratchplate, but i just prefer the look of having one really. Nothing more to it than that. I mixed green purple and a shiny iridescent colour here, but my other choice was red , orange and yellow. So i'd like to see what a orange one would look like! -
There is kind of a table to the left once you press "view new content" Make sure your selections in that table are as you want them

As always, looking cracking mate!

Survivor by Destiny Child. Its a cool arrangement and the crowd always seems to enjoy it. I'm guessing it's not a song many people cover?

Let's hear all your own Basschat Rig Rundowns.

I think mine might be most simple so far... Warwick Streamer or AJR singlecut ---> Yamaha mixing desk Touch of compression and EQ'd to the room. I like the sound of my basses -
